A very nice hotel near the harbor, which has a beautiful view. It was close to several Restaurant, and only about 30 min walk to downtown shopping area. The staff was helpful. No complaints!

Great Location

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We had a great time at the Radisson Blu. You could not have asked for a better location. It was close enough to Old Town to get in the mix of things, but also far enough to have a nice quite business dinner. They have very nice chic bar for drinks before or after dinner. They also have underground parking.

Friendly and helpful staff and a great location

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, great neighborhood, really friendly and accommodating staff
Cons: bathroom not private from sleeping room
If you are visiting Dusseldorf for the first time, the Radisson is an excellent choice. Just down the street from the iconic "dancing houses" designed by Frank Gehry, and a ten minute walk to the Rheinturm, an amazing tower with panoramic views across the Rhein River as far as Cologne, the hotel is located in the harbor side of the city. Close to an impressive array of up scale shops, and easily accessed buses and trains (stops nearly right outside the hotel) for getting to the older city, it is in a quiet neighborhood out of the real bustle that is closer to downtown. I arrived before check in time and the desk clerk happily allowed me to check in. I asked for an iron and board to be delivered to my room and it showed up almost immediately. Although the room was small, it was well appointed with a refrigerator and mini bar well stocked with drinks and snacks. Beautiful German engineering and slick design made the best use of the space and there was plenty of room for everything. Comfortable bed, quiet throughout the night, and although I was on the first floor (one floor up from the street) it was also quiet in the morning. There is an elaborate and delicious breakfast buffet every morning (24 euros) overseen by the nicest wait staff who go out of their way to see that you are happy. I asked for help putting together a fedex package - no problem at all, asked to extend my checkout time until later in the day, no problem, and checked my luggage after I checked out for storage untl I left for the airport. Any downsides? My only minor complaint is that the bathroom is separated from the sleeping room by a glass wall, only half of which is frosted. Not much privacy.

Simply the best!!

Spent eleven nights with my wife and three children. Booked two connecting business class rooms. Smooth check in, nice receptionists, very very very friendly breakfast staff. Nice quite location and everything near you. Cinemas, restaurants, cocktail bars, star bucks, subway, Rhine tower, and the Rhine river. The interior decoration of the hotel and the rooms are the best I have seen in my life. Down town is a 20 minutes romantic walk. I highly rocomend it for newly we'd people!!!
