Modern apartment style rooms. Concierge at check in was great as were the cleaning staff Great location with easy access to bars and restaurants However - the gym is small and dingy with no aircon and limited equipment - odd for a hotel this size - reception staff were rude and disinterested at every encounter - no room service available Definitely not worth the money

Took my family of four with 4 young kids to this hotel and loved it. The location is in the heart of the city but the hotel offers a great place to get away from the busy streets. If you are looking to stay in the Altstadt this is the place to be.

Meine Tochter ihre beste Freundin und ich waren in Düsseldorf um das Wochenende auf die Anime ind Manga Messe Dokomi zu gehen. Wir waren bereits voriges Jahr in dem The Wellem Hotel. Es hat sich viel verändert seitdem. Der Check In war eher kühl auch war inser zimmer noch nicht fertig was nicht schlimm war. Der Reptionist wollte das ich gleich die Rechnung begleiche und dachte ich zahle per Karte und hat auch noch 100 € Desposit draufgelegt. Ich habe gesagt das ich die Übernachtung bar zahle und warum sich das Disposit von 50€ auf 100€ erhöht hat konnte er mir nicht erklären. Beim Aus checken hat die Rückgabe des disposit auf meine Karte funktioniert sodas es mir in bar zurückgegeben wurde auch hab ich keine Rechnung über meine Zahlung erhalten. Zum Glück war das Frühstück schon inkludiert denn 46€ für erw. Und 17€ für kinder fürs Frühstück ist total überteuert für das was geboten wird es war eine sehr kleine Auswahl auch musste man Kaffee bestellen es war kein Automat vorhanden. Wie werden uns beim nächsten mal ein anderes Hotel suchen.

Shocking hotel Service don’t waste your money.

Complete waste of money. I ordered breakfast to my room at 6:30am. I go downstairs and my room card is on the desk I said where is my breakfast and I am told the breakfast staff didn’t come in today. Then I go down to the breakfast room which starts at 7am I am now potentially running late for my meetings but decided to eat as my room service never came. 7:20 there is still no bread, I ask I am told it’s in the oven. When the bread finally comes I cut it open and it’s frozen in the middle. I get up to tell staff and the are at the bar stuffing their faces with food. The worst hotel experience I have had. Save your money, better service sleeping at a b&b for 40 euros.

The room was not the type we had chosen. It was a studio for people who stay longer and have other requirements. It did not meet our expections. But everything was clean and ok. Hand towels were missing.
