Wendy House is a delightful house in the heart of Eastbourne within a Courtyard setting. The cottage offers characterful accommodation for up to 4 people all within walking distance of the many delights of Eastbourne. We offer all the expected comforts that will make your stay pleasurable at an affordable price. The railway station is a 2 minute walk away so arrival on foot or bicycle couldn't be easier whilst also offering the opportunity for great days out. Alternatively bring your car and tour the delightful South Downs National Park including Beachy Head, Seven Sisters, the Cuckmere Valley and quaint villages scattered across the East Sussex countryside. The location of the delightful Wendy House is the main attraction giving a central base to explore on foot or have days out by train of car.

A house with a soul / une maison avec une Ăąme

This little house is very too much nice ! Near the center and near the train station, It's very easy to go where you want! Inside, it's very lovely. I'll come back as soon as possible ! And It's very quite also ! C'était un merveilleux séjour en famille et ce lieu y a contribué amplement! Pierrette , from France!

GemĂŒtliches Haus in ruhiger Nebenstraße

Wir haben hier eine gute Zeit verbracht. Das Haus bot alles, was wir brauchten, um uns selbst zu versorgen. Es war sauber und an alles gedacht. Die Informationen vom Vermieter waren verstĂ€ndlich und umfassend, der Kontakt war hervorragend und sehr freundlich.Unser gemietetes Volvo SUV war leider zu breit fĂŒr die Garage, aber mit den bereitgelegten Visitor Permits war das Parken auf der Straße kein Problem, wir haben jeden Abend einen Parkplatz gefunden.

A gem!

A charming, cosy property tucked away near the centre of Eastbourne. The cottage is well stocked with amenities. Tim the host is attentive and quick to respond to the concerns of guests. We had a wonderful time at Wendy House and would stay there again.

Jederzeit wieder und eine wunderschöne Zeit

Unser Aufenthalt war super. Das Wendy Haus ist gut gelegen. Bus und Bahn sind von hier fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Wir haben die meisten AusflĂŒge ohne Auto unternommen. London ist gut mit dem Zug zu erreichen. Unbedingt muss man mit dem Sightseeing Bus in Eastbourne eine Rundreise machen. Besonders haben es uns die Beachy Head angetan. Sehr schöne Natur! Der Strand ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Innenstadt. Hier gibt es ein riesen Einkaufscenter mit zahlreichen GeschĂ€ften. Im Haus selber, war alles vorhanden was wir gebraucht haben. Selberkochen war möglich. HandtĂŒcher und BettwĂ€sche waren vorhanden. Da man immer wieder etwas zur Garage von anderen GĂ€sten gelesen hat: wir haben sogar mit unseren Honda Civic Tourer in die Garage gepasst. Es war FingerspitzengefĂŒhl angesagt, aber es ging. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent property, great location

We stayed at Wendy House for three nights. Booking and arriving could not have been any more straightforward. Tim (the owner) sent through lots of helpful information prior to our arrival and was very responsive to my pre arrival queries. The house is lovely. Comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. It’s ideally located for Eastbourne centre and is literally round the back of the train station. But don’t let this put you off. It was so quiet you wouldn’t know you were so close to the station/centre of town. Parking can be a bit of a pain. Permits are provided and easy to use but you might have to look for a parking space in the nearby streets - but this is the trade of for being so centrally located. We’d definitely stay again.

Lovely house, spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, comfortable beds, quiet location, handy for railway stations and shops. Slight problem with key safe when arriving ,but contacted Tim and quickly sorted. Would definitely come again .

Lovely week break

Very central location ten min walk to beach 2 mins to town centre and Lovely new shopping centre with cinema in it. House is small but perfectly formed for a holiday rental for family of 4. Nicely decorated beach theme again adding to holiday feeling. Handy having a garage. Our car wouldn’t fit width wise as quite big but smaller car would fit fine. We had a pass to park on the road and managed most of the week right outside. Only once had to park on next street. Tim was in touch throughout great contact. Would happily stay here again.

Convenient, cosy accommodation

Very impressed with quality, cleanliness and location of the Wendy house. The kitchen was quite compact but very well equipped and met our needs perfectly. Beds were very comfortable.with spare bedding available should it be required. The shower worked well and there was a plentiful supply of hot water as required. The property was ideally located for the railway station and town centre so a car would not be necessary. A garage was available but we decide for ease to park in the street. This proved to be non problematic.

Perfect Getaway Location

Beautifully presented cottage, with all the essentials, and more, included. Wendy House was very welcoming and allowed our family, of two adults and two 7 year olds, to enjoy a comfortable time at a home away from home.
