(Fishing from dock) Boat launch, seafood market & bait-tackle shop next door....
Our waterfront cottages are just a short drive to some of the area's favorite restaurants, breweries and 7 minutes from Saint George Island. Throw a line from the dock, head out on your boat or hit the water in your kayak. They can accommodate up to 6 guest & feature a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, queen bedroom, bunk beds, pull-out-couch, flat screen TV's & a back porch overlooking the bay....
Property was near everything, Has beautiful sunrises, fishing out of the yard and putting the boar in right there and peacefulness also definitely would stay again
Absolutely wonderful little cottage at a beautiful spot. Sunrise every morning was stunningly beautiful. The breezes coming through the front door was one of my favorite things. Will recommend!
We booked 3 nights but only stayed one night. A hurricane was coming in and the area was evacuating. The owner was moving the cottages away from the shore to a storage location so we had to leave early.
Pleasure staying here for a night. My family and I were looking to get down to the beach early to extend our week on the gulf. Reasonable price, clean, and a beautiful view!
Nice location and all you need. Short ride to SGI. Really enjoyed the stay and the view.
Super cute spot with beautiful view, convenient fishing just steps away. Housed the three of us very nicely. Only thing I could possibly add would be maybe a fan on the porch as we were there on very hot days. Very clean and accommodating.
This property was exactly as advertised. Very clean and great location. We enjoyed watching the various birds (even a bald eagle) who visited the bay. Very convenient to visit St. George Island. The owner provided excellent restaurant recommendations that we enjoyed during our stay.
Absolutely loved this place. Center location for everything. So clean and great view. The only thin g that would have made it even more perfect was if there were more than one little dock on the other side. We wanted to do a little fishing but there was not enough room for us and the neighbor. But will still come again soon!
Man, what a beautiful piece of property! It was so perfect for us. No screaming kids running around, no loud neighbors. Beautiful sunrise. Just literal minutes from shopping and beach access and the estuary. It was just quiet and peaceful and cozy. There are 3 tiny houses and then an RV hook up on the property. I was concerned that we might end up with loud screaming kids for neighbors but that wasnât the case at all. There was a nice family from Georgia next to us the first night, and the 3rd night an older couple stayed in the back cabin, and the last night, a middle aged couple with kayaks stayed next to us. Everyone was kind but minded their own. I did some shopping 10 minutes away in Appalachiacola (spelling?) and my family had a condo just 12 min away on St. George so we went out to eat with them and visited their beach and pool. Gosh, the restaurants there so so good! My favorite was âHole in the Wallâ in apalachacola, but my mom really liked âfamily seafood restaurantâ just 2 minutes away from the tiny house in Eastpoint. (I think thatâs the restaurants name.) I just canât wait to go back!! What a gem! Thatâs just the perfect little vacay for me. đ I think the ONLY thing more I could have asked for is a full-length mirror! But thatâs just cuz Iâm a stylist. Oh, I caught quite a few fish too! I fished with mullet and I fished with shrimp. I had better luck with shrimp cuz I kept catch sharks with the mullet. 10/10 perfect đ next time Iâd like to stay for longer!
My three daughters, my granddaughter, and myself go every year to celebrate the end of the school year. We loved the cabin on the water, and it was clean and close to everything. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Location and cleanliness of this property were 10/10. You are a 10 minute drive max from tons of activities but have your own serene location to retreat back to after a long day of beach fun.
We really enjoyed the short stay in the green cottage! We were right by the water and were treated to sightings of the bald eagles, dolphins, seagulls, and pelicans. We would have liked to have stayed longer but the cottage was already rented. We will definitely consider renting again!
This is exactly as described, a touch dated but clean. The "neighborhood" isn't plush but it's what it says it is- right on the water, etc. Tons of bird life, close proximity to various amenities. As is typical of so much of Florida the tap water is atrocious- you'll want to buy drinking water and just put up with the smell as you shower. But it's a clean enough little place, gives you access to going to the island or Apalachicola, etc., with ease. If we return to that area we would likely might stay there again. Owner was receptive and helpful. No complaints at all.
This area was absolutely perfect. It was perfectly located between St. George Island and Apalachicola. The condo was clean and well stocked with necessities. We arrived a few minutes early and enjoyed speaking with the family member of the owner cleaning the condo. She was so nice and gave us lots of local recommendations. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was so quiet and the sunrise is beautiful from this location.
I actually do not want to advertise this place, because I want to keep it a secret, but it wouldn't be fair to the people who are running it. It was a trip for 3 of us ( my 84 y.o. father , 21 y.o.son and myself) .We wanted to fish and to have quiet relaxing time. And this place exceeded our expectation, we had everything we wanted and more. Susan and Andrea were very helpful. They hooked us with fishing charter, provided all the information and everything we needed. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come back! Brewing company nearby (walking distance) is fun place to have a beer and relax after fishing trip. Looking forward to visit this small town again!
