Escape to the serene beauty of Lake Sinclair, GA, at our stunning Lyons Den property. This spacious 5-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom, three-story home is the perfect getaway for families and friends seeking relaxation and adventure by the water.

The Space:
****As part of routine lake maintenance and shoreline repair efforts by Georgia Power, Lake Sinclair will be drawn down by approximately 5 feet starting October 25, 2025. The lake refill is anticipated to begin on December 1, 2025****

Welcome to Lyons Den - Your Ultimate Waterfront Retreat on Lake Sinclair!

Spacious Living:** With two expansive living room areas, there’s plenty of room for everyone to unwind and create lasting memories together.

Newly Built Boat Dock:** Our newly constructed boat dock invites you to enjoy a variety of water activities, including fishing, sunbathing, and swimming. Dive into relaxation or reel in the catch of the day! Boat lifts are not available. You can tie your boat and jet skis to the dock. (Please be sure you have your own bumpers!) The depth at the dock is 5-6ft deep. The closest boat ramp is only minutes away at Twin Bridges Marina. Please note if you have a tower boat it will not fit under the bridge to the property.

Kayaking Adventures:** For the adventurous souls, we offer two kid-sized kayaks for guests to explore the shimmering waters of Lake Sinclair. Paddle away and discover hidden coves and serene spots along the shore.

Family-Friendly Space:** With five bedrooms and ample living space, Lyons Den comfortably accommodates your entire family or group, ensuring everyone has their own haven to retreat to after a day of fun. Enjoy all the cool decor in the house from all over the world such as: Kenya, Kenya, Mozambique, Vietnam and Zimbabwe!

This is a pet-friendly property. Pet fees are non-refundable and range from $150-$500 depending on the amount of pets, sizes, etc. Please reach out directly to Lakeside Property Management to confirm your furry friends before your arrival this also includes to confirm your service animals. Unauthorized pets will be billed back to the guests in the amount of $500. If your pet damages any items in the home you will be responsible for replacements and/or repairs. If any signs of pets using the bathroom inside the home, pet hair on bedding, or furniture guests will be charged an additional cleaning fee. We only allow house trained pets. Please be sure to bring your own kennels and pet beds. We love our furry friends, but it is our goal and responsibility to keep our properties clean and with guests using these best practices, we can avoid any additional fees. This allows us to continue to allow our pets to join the family fun.

Getting Around:
Lyon's Den is 20 minutes from GSCU & GMC. Twin Bridges Marina is a short 3-minute car drive away. Milledgeville offers groceries, dining, movie theater, bowling alley, and a skating rink. It's 15-20 minute drive from the property.

A few local's favorite restaurant's are Taylor's Cove, Legends Seafood & Grille and Lake Oconee Bistro.

Nice place

The property management company was very nice and great to work with. The house is new and even has that new home smell. The boat dock is new and has a large area to sit and enjoy the sun. The house is hidden, so when you arrive it’s in the culdesac on your left. We had such a wonderful time and plan to stay there again.

The house is new and comfortably large for a big group. We had 7 adults and 2 children. We had an initial problem finding the house, as we were given the wrong street name, apparently by VRBO, but once we found it, entry was easy. (Several streets in the area have almost the same name.)The ice maker was broken, but we quickly found ice at the small store less than 5 minutes away. The management company offered to bring us ice, too. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom and found it to be quite comfortable. Other adults staying with us said the queen beds in other rooms could use mattress toppers. For anyone who has trouble walking, know that the walk to the dock is fairly steep. The dock itself is large and well-equipped. Its storage room contains one adult kayak and one child kayak, along with life preservers and small metal chairs. Water depth from the dock was over 5' and we caught several small fish - catfish, bream, and crappie. The porches are wonderful for relaxing out of the sun or eating a meal outdoors. We enjoyed our stay.

Multi Generational Stay Was a HIT!!!

We traveled with our parents (mine and hers all over 80 years old) to the lake. The home is NEW and the views are awesome! We took our boat as well. As you an see from the photos, the main level is all open and you are able to socialize from being in the kitchen with those in the living area and have full view of the lake from the main floor! Like most properties on Lake Sinclair, there are steps down to the water, but not too tough. We got our parents to the dock and back with assistance without incident. The kitchen had all the utensils needed plus some we didn't expect! Air Fryer was also there. We did not use the kayaks or paddle board, but those were in the boathouse and easily available as well. I was able to catch a few fish right from the dock also. Boat ramp at Twin Bridges is VERY Close to the house and 7 launch fee at the time we were there. You do have to lower the bimini top to get under the bridge, but clearance we fine for us otherwise. Almost forgot... The patio on the main floor, is HUGE. A large table with a "lazy susan" center makes sharing a meal outside easy! Lots of room and easy for all to gather when the weather is comfortable! We totally enjoyed our stay and with our daughter and son-in-law living in Milledgeville, we will probably be back!!!
