No elevators so a handicapped person has to take stairs to the 2nd floor. Later discovered that most of the first floor was not sold Stool into room was raised so we both almost fell several times getting into the room.

Very comfortable bed

This was a nice hotel for trying to stay on a budget. No hot tub, but the pool was nice. Very much a construction crew pit stop.

It is a nice hotel if staying one night and not spending a lot of time in your room. Rooms are a little on the small side. Small gym and tried to use, but could not get in. Just decided to walk outside

The bed was like concrete. I had to go get my camping pad from the car. I pulled the fitted sheet back to place my pad under it and the mattress and mattress pad were stained with all kinds of nastiness. Please launder or replace the mattress pad. New mattress. The room carpet was beyond sticky and flinty. It's WI people! Dirt, salt, snow. How often are you steam-cleaning your carpets? Speaking of carpets, I have NEVER seen such filthy hallway carpets. Are they not vacuumed daily? I'm aware of proper food-handling practices. This establishment at some time will pass on a food-borne illness to their patrons. Here's what I saw. 1) The front desk worker was doing paperwork, touching the computer, etc. Then he proceeded to go to the "kitchen" and was microwaving some sausage patties. He didn't wash his hands, he wasn't wearing a hair restraint or apron. He put on some cheap little one-time use gloves, then put the patties in the chafing dish. Then he went straight to cleaning the windows with a dirty rag (at least he was cleaning the windows, right?!), then went straight back to the kitchen and started handling more food. He NEVER washed his hands. Then I noticed his assistant came directly from the laundry room where she was handling dirty laundry, touched her mouth with her hands, donned a clean pair of gloves and started working with food w/o washing her hands. This is unacceptable. I will be county their county Health Department and lodging a complain. You've been warned.

The staff was nice, room was nice, bed was higher up than what I like but was comfortable. Nice selection of breakfast items. My only complaint is that they don't have any nighttime signage, pretty dark.
