Tucked away amidst rolling fields and just a short stroll from the picturesque Phantassie Doocot and the historic Preston Mill along the banks of the River Tyne, this cottage combines rustic charm with modern comforts, making it the perfect getaway.

Located half a mile from the village’s delightful amenities, including two welcoming pubs and a local shop, this inviting space promises relaxation and convenience. The cosy living room, adorned with books and featuring a crackling wood burner, is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. With TV access and Wi-Fi, you can stay connected while enjoying the comfort of your surroundings.

The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a washing machine, oven, hob, and dining area, sets the stage for effortless self-catering during your stay. Gather around the table and enjoy home-cooked meals or make snacks for your outdoor adventures. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa. It truly made our first trip to Scotland a special and memorable experience. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The bedrooms were spacious and more than comfortable for our family of five, allowing everyone to relax without feeling cramped. What stood out the most was the living room with the fireplace. It created such a warm, cozy, and elegant atmosphere that we found ourselves spending most of our time there. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Scotland, we would love to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay.

Der Besitzer war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause fühlten. Die Schlafzimmer waren geräumig und mehr als komfortabel für unsere fünfköpfige Familie, sodass sich jeder entspannen konnte, ohne sich eingeengt zu fühlen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Wohnzimmer mit dem Kamin. Es schuf eine so warme, gemütliche und elegante Atmosphäre, dass wir die meiste Zeit dort verbrachten. Es war der perfekte Ort, um nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag zu entspannen. Sollten wir jemals die Gelegenheit haben, nach Schottland zurückzukehren, würden wir sehr gerne wieder hier übernachten. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die einen ruhigen und schönen Ort zum Verweilen suchen.
