Very good location. You are placed near everything needed to explore Edinburgh. The room and bathroom was very clean. Only downside, which changes our review from 5 stars to 4 stars, is that the toilet facilities and shower had very weak water pressure. The staff explained that it was due to old pipes in the building.

Other travelers staying in the same motel were obnoxiously loud and vociferous up to 3-4 am. Attempting to rest and sleep was very difficult as result. Also, the motel had no signs at the front door which made it challenging to locate the place. The hotel signs were posted on the second floor.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay — Clean, Comfortable, and Perfectly Located I had a fantastic stay at The Inn Place in Edinburgh. The hotel was exceptionally clean, from the lobby to the rooms, which made the entire experience feel comfortable and well cared for. The location is unbeatable; only about a 3‑minute walk from Waverley Train Station and just 2 minutes from the Royal Mile. It made exploring the city incredibly easy, and being so close to the station was especially convenient for arrival and departure. The staff were extremely friendly, warm, and helpful throughout my stay. Every interaction felt genuine, and they were always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room itself was comfortable, the bed was great, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Overall, it’s a place that combines cleanliness, convenience, and great service in the heart of Edinburgh. I would happily stay here again.

Property was kind of run down. Very odd set up for breakfast. We forgot a battery pack and converter on our room and was able to tell them the exact color, kind and location it was at and oddly enough no one could find it. Very sad.

The Inn was located in the heart of Edinburgh but the rooms were extremely small and there was barely room for our luggage. The bathroom mirror was hung way too high to use, even for a tall person. But having said all that, I would stay there again.

The location is great, but unfortunately the noise levels let it down. The corridors echo heavily, and I could clearly hear people talking, doors opening and closing, and noise from the elevators throughout my stay. I was also not informed in advance that there would be construction work taking place, which resulted in additional noise disturbance. Had I known this beforehand, it would have influenced my booking decision.
