# 🏠 House Rules

To ensure a comfortable stay and maintain a peaceful environment for everyone, please follow these house rules:

• **No parties or events**
• **No smoking or vaping inside the suite**
• Only registered guests may stay overnight
• Maximum occupancy is **4 guests**
• Please respect **quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM**
• Please keep noise at a reasonable level at all times
• Street parking only, except temporary driveway use for loading/unloading when available
• Please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways, sidewalks, or mailboxes
• Please leave the suite in reasonably clean condition
• Please report any damage or maintenance concerns promptly

# 🚫 Violation & Additional Fees

Where permitted under the booking platform's policies, additional charges may apply for violations, damage, or extra services:

Smoking/vaping indoors: $300
Unauthorized pets: $300
Unauthorized parties/gatherings:$500
Late checkout without approval: $100
Excessive cleaning: $50/hour
Unregistered additional guests: Applicable additional guest charges

Guests may also be responsible for the actual cost of repairing or replacing damaged or missing property.

# 🧹 Long-Term Stays (28+ Days)

Longer stays are welcome.

For stays of **28 nights or more**:

• An additional **$60 cleaning fee** may apply
• A starter supply of household essentials is provided
• Guests are responsible for replenishing consumable supplies after the starter quantities are used
• Guests are expected to maintain reasonable cleanliness throughout their stay

For the comfort and security of everyone at the property:

• Please keep the entrance door locked when leaving the suite
• Do not share your access information with anyone outside your reservation
• Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight
• Please immediately report any safety, maintenance, plumbing, or property concerns

# Other things to note

This is a **private basement suite located within a residential property**. While the suite has its own separate entrance and private living facilities, there may be occupants living in the upper portion of the home.

As with most basement suites, you may occasionally hear normal household sounds from upstairs. We ask everyone at the property to respect quiet hours and keep noise to a reasonable level.

Please report any concerns or maintenance issues **during your stay** so we have an opportunity to address them promptly. Issues reported only after checkout may limit our ability to investigate or resolve them.
