Welcome to Asher Manor, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! Situated on just over one acre of land, this spacious home features: 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, loft, a three seasons room and an open living, dining, kitchen area. The private backyard includes a deck, propane grill and firepit.

This beautiful home is just a short bike ride to downtown Egg Harbor, steps to Alpine Golf Course, and located in the Point Beach Neighborhood in Egg Harbor. It is secluded, quiet, wooded and includes lots of wildlife. Feel like you are in the middle of nowhere yet conveniently located to so many Door County amenities including shops, dining, the marina and much more!

-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

We had a great stay for a much needed, post-holiday retreat. There were 6 adults and 4 children (ages 4, 5, 7 and 7). The loft area with twin beds was a great space for the cousins to hang out, play, and sleep. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and the fire pit area outside. The market lights outside were perfect for hanging outside at night, and added to the ambiance after experiencing snow during our stay. The kitchen offered all the essentials to stay there and cook meals which we did most of our stay since many restaurants were closed for the season (visited in the winter). We also enjoyed seeing deer walking through the property each morning. Nice, family-friendly home. We hope to visit in the future.

Very comfortable beds. Each bed had towels and a luggage rack. Beautiful home and property. Felt private and secluded yet was only 5 minutes away from shops and restaurants. Extra garbage bags weren’t provided. We sent an email and received an acknowledgment but weren’t given a location for more bags. Luckily we brought extra paper towel as the roll was almost empty and there was no extra to be found. There also was not much of a toilet paper supply. The AC didn’t seem to work for an 80 degree weekend, which was frustrating.

Beautiful house as represented in photos. It was perfect for a family weekend in Door County. Just had a heating glitch, but it was resolved. We arrived late (8:00PM) and the furnace was not working. Communications with the owners through their rental agency on the VRBO enabled us to get alternative floorboard heating until the repairman came the next day. A deer and her baby visited the side yard as we packed to leave which was really exciting for the children. Would stay there again.

Very nice place. The only issue we had was the step up into the kitchen/living room from the entry. Wasn't expecting a step and tripped a bit. We put "things" at the step so we wouldn't trip up or down.

beautiful property

We had a girls weekend that included mothers and daughters. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us. It did take a while to heat the house and we didn't have hot water for the first half of the stay but property management was very responsive and helped as much as they could. I was a little disappointed as it snowed and nothing was shoveled. We quickly retrieved a shovel and got to work. Overall i would 100% stay here again.

Truly lovely Door County home for a perfect stay near Egg Harbor

Loved this property. Fabulous open floor plan. We love to cook and this kitchen with island great. Lots of wildlife to see from the 3 season porch - deer, raccoons, squirrels, at least 9-10 different birds we could identify and several more. Short trip to local beaches and into town. The grocery store in Egg Harbor is great, but we mainly bought from farm stands. Our local favorite activities were "The Farm" (Sturgeon Bay) and Lautenbach's for all things cherry related agritainment and winery, and The Island Lavender Store in Ephriam (bc we didn't go to Washington Island this trip but we still wanted Door County Lavender products). Spacious room for 10.

Fantastic 10 year anniversary

We had a celebration of 10 years of marriage in beautiful Door County where we made our vows. Asher Manor was a fantastic choice for us, allowing us to celebrate with our closest friends, share a meal we cooked in their lovely kitchen, and served as a jumping off point for exploring Door County.

Lifelong girlfriends fall trip

We loved everything about this house. Seven ladies who grew up together and have remained friends for over 50 years spent the last four days at this beautiful property. Perfectly appointed. Everything was provided and more. We loved the location in the beautiful woods. Even though there were neighbors it feels very private. We cooked, we sat by the firepit, we walked to the lake, we stayed home and played games... We felt welcomed and comfortable!! An unexpected extra was an additional sink in the large upstairs bedroom... to add to the 2 1/2 baths. We already hope to rent this house again on our next trip!

Lovely in the woods.

Close to Egg Harbor but situated like you are in the forest far from the crowd. Our only issue was the loft. It is always difficult to to determine the layout of the house based on pictures only. The loft is located at the top of the stairs along with 2 other bedrooms which meant for our family of 7 adults and one 3year old child, the one adult was awaken by everyone. Also, they mention no pets allowed but our family is very allergic to animals & dog hair was not only found on the couch but we were experiencing allergic reactions.

Relaxing!

Loved our stay in Egg Harbor. The vibe is relaxing and low key. Good variety of things to do but also not too much! We enjoyed the wooded neighborhood and easy access to amenities. The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Clean and quiet.
