Main issue was that the concierge wouldn't let us check in 30min before 3pm when the hotel had plenty of rooms available. I would understand if it was all booked but we just needed to put out luggage away while we went out for a sunset at white sands. We even checked out early in the morning, what did you have to lose on 30min early check in?

The room was very clean, with crisp white linens & towels. However, the sheets, comforter & towels had a heavy bleach odor. The bed was very comfortable, & loved the pillows. The hotel in general needs a general facelift. It’s seen better days, & a fresh coat of paint with new hall carpet would give the whole appearance at least another star, maybe 2. Location was very convenient, on the frontage road just off the freeway. There are dining options close by, but I didn’t venture out after arriving. Went straight to bed & although my room faced the freeway, it was surprisingly quiet. Only sleep interruption was the next door guest kept slamming the door thru the night. Don’t understand people who do that. The thermostat was set at a great temp. Not too cold, not too warm. I personally appreciated that. Nice & comfy upon entering the room. Overall, I’d stay here again.

The hotel room floor was extremely dirty as I proceeded to clean the immediate floor next to the bed. Black and brown came off into the white towel. The electrical outlet behind the bed, below the headboard was broken with live electrical wires exposed. The sink faucet fixture was extremely loose. The bathroom towel rack was loose and frustrating as an everyday use. The alarm clock was not working and broken. All of these issues, problems, and safety concerns were addressed to the front desk the next following morning. The young lady in the front desk did not seem to be concerned as did not ask for my room number. My room number was 107. I stayed there from November 13, 2025, to November 20, 2025. Very disappointing as no issues were corrected throughout the week nor was I offered to be moved to another room. I will not be staying in another Best Western Hotel. Very poorly operated with lack of professionalism.

Overall the stay was good. The rooms definitely arent the same, as the impression you get from the entrance area. Both the shampoo and body wash, wall mounted , containers were empty. The pool was very nice and heated, the staff was friendly, although they seemed to have only 1 person to check in guests, as well as answer the phones . We checked in around 4 and it took a long time. They might want to get a second staff member, so the wait to check in would be faster . Also i was disappointed, that their shuttke service is not 24/7. I booked this motel because we has a flight the next morning at 5. Their shuttle service only starts at 7 am. So then we have to pay for a uber. Which was only $12 but still it be a good thing to mention before people book..
