Relaxing River House Getaway-Sleeps 10

Cozy newly renovated river house with ample entertainment space inside and out. Large covered deck with wrap around porch and a beautiful view of the Ohio River. One mile from Horseshoe Casino and just minutes from entertainment and amenities of downtown New Albany, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky. Less than 10 minutes from a local winery, two breweries, and Chariot Run Golf Course. Perfect for large groups or a romantic weekend getaway!

I have a Bonus Bedroom available, that is detached from the house. It has a queen size bed, dresser, hotel type heater / AC , and a view of the river. I charge $100 for that extra bedroom, for your entire stay. Let me know if you think you may need that and I can send a request on here. It would be great for a couple or a single who wants a little more privacy. It is accessible from the back deck overlooking the river.

Great property!

This house was perfect for my friend’s bachelor weekend trip! Plenty of room on the property for hanging out, and everything looked very well taken care of. Communication with the host was very easy, and the location of the house was perfect (right down the road from the Caesars casino, 15-20 mins from downtown New Albany). Overall a great experience!

Archery visit

Loved the back deck area looking at river spent the mornings before we went places and the evenings once we came back on that deck. House is about 10 minutes from New Albany and 20 from Louisville. It was a peaceful quiet location to chill before we went to the National Archery tournament and other activities we packed in. Host was very helpful and and communicated very timely throughout the entire process.

Leap Year Birthday

We stayed here to celebrate my 13th leap year birthday with my kids and my grandson. The house was perfect for us. My son and his wife really like being able to stay in the basement with the baby. It gave them plenty of room. The jets do not work in master bath. I was a little upset about that as I was looking forward to relaxing in there. The house is very close to the casino. We had a blast there. Overall this a great place and we will be back.

Southern Indiana Hidden Gem

Beautiful location. An absolute Hidden Gem right down the road from the Horseshoe Casino. Loved drinking coffee on the porch watching the barges on the river. Beautiful set up. Plenty of space to crash a small group.

A True Gem

This property/house is a true gem. We were there for a girls' weekend and everything about this beautiful home met our expectations. It is clean and spacious. Everyone slept very well in the comfortable beds. The deck is the most wonderful feature. We spent hours on the deck, playing games, having cocktails and appetizers, and either watching the beautiful sunrise, barges going by, or the sunlight dancing on the water. A path and steps lead down to the water's edge. This home is in a rural area where you can just listen to the sounds of nature, but close to activities in Louisville and New Albany. We all enjoyed our stay and would book this great home again in a heartbeat.
