Great Spring Getaway

This property is so beautiful! If you’re looking for nature, peace, and quiet near a beautiful lake where you can see bald eagles, deer, geese, and more on a daily basis- this is for you! My family and I had a wonderful time!

Heaven on Earth

My only request for my birthday was a weekend away in a cabin in the woods and this place was so incredibly perfect, I couldn’t have been happier. Top to bottom taste. Such an inviting property with plenty of space and activities like SUP’s and kayaks, board games and puzzles. You can just feel the love that was poured into this cabin.
The only snag was we put hot tub in our search as a requirement and this cabin showed up with a photo of a hot tub in the back, but unfortunately it wasn’t there when we stayed. A bit of a bummer but honestly, if it had been there the owners probably would have never gotten rid of us! Just a gorgeous property with easy to communicate with hosts. Would love to stay again!

Family time at the lake
Posted Aug. 17, 2023 on HomeAway3 families came together, 6 adults, 4 kids (8-12) and there was plenty of space for everyone!
Lots of outdoor space for games and seating, while we couldn’t swim directly on front of cabin we could paddle out with provided paddle boards and kyaks for swims. Steep dirt road to enter. Enjoyed the privacy and quiet.

Awesome ling weekend

Perfect Weekend Escape
Posted Jul. 31, 2023 on HomeAwayThis was a last minute find as my husband and I were looking for a quiet, weekend getaway and it did not disappoint. Property is located right on the water with some amazing views and water activities for those looking for outdoor fun. Can't wait to come back again!

Serene Lake Stay!
Posted Jul. 26, 2023 on HomeAwayI stayed here with my husband, son & daughter and law and three grandchildren, ages 4, 6 & 7. The house is just lovely! They have done a wonderful job with renovating and decorating and we were there when it was really hot and it stayed very cool with all the room air conditioners. It is more roomy than it looks in the pictures. Lots of counter space in the kitchen! There was even more room in the bunk house that we ended up not needing. Nice welcoming touches with wine and smores makings! The grass area is lovely. We very much enjoyed watching the birds and deer - and it was so quiet and serene! And the supplied paddle boards were nice to have as well! The only thing that isn't 5 star is the beach. There were lots of stickery bushes that we had to avoid. And rather than a slope into the water, there was a wooden wall, not a tall one, but for our youngest grandchild, it was hard to get up and down. I should have clarified the beach situation, so that's on me. But our grandsons loved paddling the small kayak (provided) around in the shallow water. The deeper part of the lake, just a bit out of the lily pads is great for paddle boarding. And a side note - the Wifi was great, but we couldn't call or text out to anyone who didn't have our same phones (iPhones). Overall, this place is lovely! And so peaceful!
