Experience Ellijay in luxurious style at Apple Cottage! Walking distance with sidewalks to everything including, unique shops, eateries, bars, Harrison Park walking trail, and just a short drive to rivers, orchards, wineries and hiking trails. This lovely 1940's cottage has been totally renovated, furnished and updated with modern conveniences including WiFi, Smart TV, electric fireplace, large rocking chair front porch and sits right next door to Mr P's, one of our legendary local restaurants for " to go food" and known for some of the best home cooked food in town! The adorable "court yard" provides privacy and the completely fenced in yard allows your furry baby to enjoy the outdoors safely.

As soon as you enter Apple Cottage you will realize this was a great choice. This place is not only beautiful but it was designed with luxury and comfort in mind.

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.

Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-wash cloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, and a charcoal grill.

In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).

Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.

The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

It was very enjoyable trip. The house was adorable, everything we could possibly need was there. Everything was spotless and the main square of Ellijay was lest than a 10 minute walk. We will be back soon.

Quick weekend getaway

Apple cottage is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Mr. P’s take out is next door but we had no problem with noise from the drive thru! We will be staying at the Apple Cottage again! Beds were comfortable also.

Great place to run away to

Very cute house. Everything was super clean. The only issue we had we figured out. We had a breaker shut off electric to a very important appliance,(the coffee maker lol) We located the breaker box and all was fine. Loved the area, will definitely stay again.

Delightful Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The owners were kind enough to work with us in last minute severe weather conditions in our home state that delayed our travel and we are very appreciative of that consideration.The cottage is charming and spacious. Plenty of room! This is likely one of the cleanest vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable with plenty of room in the bedrooms to move around in. The large l-shaped sofa in the living room is a definite plus. Room for us to stretch out and get comfy. Kitchen is well stocked and super clean. We come to Ellijay quite a bit and have stayed in several downtown Ellijay rentals and this is by far our favorite. We love being right next to Mr. P’s restaurant. Made on-the-go breakfast easy for us. Easy, quick walk to downtown as well.We would definitely stay here again!

The property was very nice, very clean and accommodating. My fur babies loved the fenced yard. Located in downtown Ellijay was a plus. Close to shops, restaurants. Couldn't be better. I will return.

Great Property in Downtown Ellijay - Walk to restaurants

Great property with enjoyable, large covered front porch. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen well-stocked. Close to everything that Ellijay has to offer - walk into the downtown area. Our only less than favorable comment is that the TV in the living room has the image of the property management's advertisement/wallpaper burned on the screen and it makes it difficult to watch television. Hope to stay again (with a new TV.)

So Cozy!

Had there been an arial view we would not have stayed here. Cute, clean, well appointed house but an arial view would have shown that a busy early morning to mid afternoon restaurant drive-thru is right next to the house (no side yard). And an arial view would also have shown that the sidewalk into Ellijay is several blocks on a very busy road. If you can ignore the highway sounds, the busy restaurant drive-thru right next to the house and the busy road / sidewalks to town, it maybe a great option for you.

Family trip gone right!

Great cottage in downtown Ellijay. Clean and cute. Two full bedrooms and a flex space with a day bed. One full bath and one half bath. Absolutely huge kitchen! Lovely dining space and suuuuper comfy living room. A lovely space overall to relax and unwind in after a busy day out in north Georgia exploring the abundance of activities in the area (blue ridge train ride, hiking trails, Apple orchards, fall festivals in downtown Ellijay, the fainting goat winery
 I mean the list actually goes on but you get the idea!). As bustling and packed as downtown Ellijay can be this was the perfect place to settle in at night for a quick walk to the town center - or start off with a quick stroll to the coffee shop in the morning. Just a perfect home base for our trip. The porch was cute too to sit and relax and the yard was well kept- but I wouldn’t say it’s a play space - this is very much a place to relax at home. Not a bad thing by any means but if you’ve got active kiddos keep them exhausted on the day trips and trails! We will definitely be back to Apple Cottage!! Gosh I can’t say enough positive things about this stay.

Convenient and Warm

The home was convenient to downtown shops and restaurants, very clean, well accommodated, and invitingly warm. The mattresses were comfortable but the box springs were quite noisy and need to be replaced. A great choice for staying in Elijay — recommend.
