Luxury River front mountain home, located on widest part of Coosawattee River in Ellijay. Inside private gated resort, 5 miles from downtown Ellijay, and 22 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Lots of beautiful nature to enjoy, sounds of the bustling and rolling river, creek/waterfall on one side of house going back in woods. Lots of privacy. Outside hot tub, charcoal grill.
Smart TV's, fiber wifi, dish network all kitchen tools and utensils provided. Drip coffee maker.

We booked this place for the week of New Year’s and it turned out great. Beautiful house and property right on the water as advertised. We loved at how well the house was stocked with things you wouldn’t need in case you forgot to bring something, especially the kitchen area. The host was extremely easy to work with and very responsive when we needed something. We would definitely come back.

Jess was a great host. This is a beautiful home and had everything we needed for a wonderful Thanksgiving week with family. We loved waking up in the morning to the wildlife drinking out of the river. Deer and bear with cubs. Wish we had more time, we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay, beds were comfortable, easy access to river which would be great in the summer. There were tons of kitchen items, enough seating in living room and fun game room, laughed so hard with the ping pong! Entrance was a little hard for these old bones but doable when not carrying things in. Only suggestion I would have for the owners would be to have a space in a cabinet to place our food items. Thank you for sharing your home!

It was our 40th anniversary and I thought the host would have done something extra for us. We would have liked to have Dish on when we got there. I guess we overlooked that part because other places we have stayed that was a given. Again, it was very relaxing and we did create some nice memories.

We had an amazing, relaxing time at River Rock. We have always stayed on creeks, and the river was a nice change. The house had everything we needed and then some. Kids loved the ping pong table. Communication from Jessica was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The check-in process was easy, the cabin is awesome, and the location cannot be beat. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want to cook and bake. We grilled out, baked cookies, made homemade ice cream, played corn hole, hiked, fished, played pool, watched movies, and tubed in the river. Everyone had a blast. I do want to apologize to Jessica for forgetting about the dishes in the dishwasher when we checked out! Next time we will put them away. So sorry about that oversight! We look forward to renting again. :)

Must stay!!!

Great cizy cabin on the river. We highly recommend this cabin for families with kids. The river is perfect for kids. Also our evenings after the river always ended up at the jacuzzi. Get for cozy nights around the fire out. High speed internet for work at home family members.

Perfect house for our family’s last minute getaway. Great views of the river and included everything we needed. The only negative was the large deposit required (almost 2x the rental fee) and the time to get that released, but this is more of a VRBO issue.

A family gathering

It was so sweet to celebrate the new year in this scenic cabin with our closest family. It was the first time as newly weds to have both sides of the immediate family together and this space was perfect for hosting.

Beautiful location and relaxing family trip

Our family of four (kids ages 18 and 12) and two dogs had a wonderful, relaxing trip! The cabin is just beautiful and private, set right on the river. We spent the majority of our time by the fire pit (which is awesome), just enjoying the river view, watching deer and wildlife, listening to music and reading. Lots of hot tub time too! It was heavenly to sit out there in the hot tub with my Kindle and read with that beautiful view. We also loved the porches - especially the primary bedroom porch with the swing (perfection!). The downstairs game room is wonderful too, especially for older kids. We also absolutely loved the trail right outside the cabin alongside a creek. Our dogs are missing those daily walks! Wide, clear paths that were perfect for quick or long walks. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we brought groceries with us to make things easier. We cooked many meals and also went out for several dinners. The living room was great and we loved the comfy leather recliners and sofa - and used the fireplace daily. Everyone agreed the rooms and beds were comfy, and we had plenty of space and great bathrooms. The original artwork thought the cabin was also beautiful and something I personally enjoyed every day. We had a great time and a much needed “slow down” for our family. It was the perfect place for a break! We already miss the sounds and view of the river and hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful property with incredible views

Our family and in-laws visited during the week of Thanksgiving and had a fantastic stay. The home was well equipped with everything you could think of. The river is steps away and the views were unbeatable. The peaceful serene setting was the perfect way to spend a week with family. The hot tub was clean. The home is very convenient to Main Street, wineries, hikes, orchards, etc. Perfect place for families with children. Our 3 and 7 year old enjoyed the game room tremendously and spent hours at the waters edge skipping rocks. We found some trails right behind the property which our kids loved as well. We really enjoyed our visit.

Stunning location and very relaxing

My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend at this cabin!! The location was amazing with stunning views of the river & without having to take a thousand stairs to get down to the water. The kitchen was fully stocked to make any meal. The swinging bed was my favorite place to relax and the open air hot tub was the best hot tub we have ever enjoyed. Communication with the owner was clear and fast. We will definitely book again.
