Great location. Easy nice walk to the beach but the house was not clean. There was roaches in the kitchen and bedrooms of the house. Sand still in the corners. The dishwasher also leaked and the down stairs bathroom door hinge was basically tore completely loose. Place has great potential if cleaned and roaches exterminated

The outdoor trash can was overflowing when we arrived and there were 4-5 large bags of trash on the ground and obviously an animal had torn open some of the bags and the trash was spilled over a part of the yard! The house needs a deep cleaning inside and out! The ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom has inches of dust on it and hanging down! All of the windows had mildew all over them and still had paper on them from when they were installed.. the upstairs bathroom had piles of sand under the ends of the sink and cabinet! I didn’t receive the code to get inside until we arrived and the cleaning lady gave it to me and let us in! The outside grill is unusable! If the outside deck were cleaned regularly it would be a nice deck! All of the lamps and light fixtures need to be cleaned/dusted! The refrigerator/freezer wasn’t clean when we arrived! The shower curtain liner in upstairs bathroom had mold/mildew and was nasty! The grout on the floor in front of upstairs shower had mold on it and the transition piece between the upstairs bathroom floor and hallway floor was broken when we arrived! New host never emailed me to let me know when trash pickup day was! I rebagged and double bagged all trash outdoors and placed the big trash can and all 9-10 bags of trash at the road the day we left.. messaged the host several times prior to scheduled arrival with questions and was never answered or acknowledged!! Wouldn’t stay here again and would not recommend it! We found 5-6 roaches .

We had a great time here! Great location close walk to the beach. Would love to stay again and hopefully come back. Tons of room for a big group of people like we had. Only wish the host was a bit more responsive and some better dusting. But overall amazing stay and would highly recommend

We had arrived four hours after our allotted check-in time. The house was not cleaned from the previous guests. Advert photos are not accurate and/or severely outdated. The beds were unwashed and in disarray. Used towels on couch, bed, & floor The garbage cans were still full in the bathrooms. There was animal(?) urine on one if the bedroom rugs. Food in the fridge. Food/oils on the kitchen table. Articles of clothing/towels in the washer. Dog hair on the couch. It was a disgusting mess. We only stuck around to document photos and contact Host Steven & VRBO who said they could not place us in another location. Steven remarked that it was strange that it was not serviced. I was told three different policies by VRBO. 1) The moment I contacted VRBO: VRBO could not place us in another location the first night. Where were we to stay? 2) The next day I was told that VRBO was supposed to accommodate us elsewhere. 3) And later I was told that VRBO would have accommodated us had we booked thirty days in advance.We had booked fifteen days in advance.Driving through the rain, exhausted, we arrived home at 3:30 a.m. Our vacation was ruined. Wasted time, gas, effort and our vacation before sons return to college. This is HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE. After many hours/days on the phone, we finally got our refund.
None of the beds were made.
Garbage in bathrooms and broken door trim/transition.
Blow dryer on floor of unpaid bedrooms.
Towel on couch.

When we got there the trash was over flowing and the house wasnt very clean. The kitchen sink faucet was really lose, someone had popped out a screen and left a pan outside on the side of the house. The house itself had plenty of space and we had great communication with the host. I think the host just doesnt have a good cleaner. Over all we had a great stay the only inconvenience was messaging the hosts to try to tell them about all the extra stuff we kept finding so we wouldnt be charged for it.

The house was an easy and quick walk to the beach and the owner was easy to get a hold of. My only negative was that the house was not very clean. I had to clean the showers, kitchen counters, and vacuum the day we got there. Other than that I have zero complaints.

Amazing family vacation

Comfortable beach house. My family loved the amount of space inside, the location to the beach was also a major bonus. My only downside was that all the beds, except 1, had plastic mattress covers, which made sleeping difficult. But for the price, the house is perfect.

It was a great location, and mostly clean (small things- like dirt, spilled items under sink in bathroom, dirt on floor by lamps) nothing major. We had a great time with plenty of room, beds were super comfortable too! Only disappointment was the lack of AC in the upstairs, although the fans helped some, was fairly stifling. Would recommend more seating in the living room space. Again- great place and would stay again!!!

Great location

Nestled in trees gives a privacy to the property! The walk to the beach was approximately 2-3 minutes and the beach was not crowded at all. Neighbors were very friendly and talkative. The kids enjoyed playing basketball and table tennis while waiting on the old folks ! 2 coffee makers was a pleasant surprise for those with different tastes. We will stay again !

Great house!

Had a problem getting someone to answer come my check in time to get the code to get in and the wifi password. Once that was handled had to run to store n grab cleaner to clean up (walking into cobwebs and dirty floors) after that it was great! Beautiful house and location very close to the water!

Perfect location room enough for everyone

Awesome location walk to the beach! Had an amazing amount of towels. We ran into some snags which I told the owner about leaking washing machine etc but no big deals. All in all would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful for a large family

My mother in law loved the kitchen. We had a great time here. I was pretty nervous around the stairs with my two young kids since you can see in between them and there’s a little gap but we were just extra careful and chose the room downstairs and had no issues!

Beach week

Well, we love the decorations and the proximity to the beach. However, there were food and ants under my kids bed and the washing machine kept leaking. We ending up leaving a day early to avoid the flooding machine. If that issue was fixed it would have been great. I also missed a lot of beach time waiting for a repair man who did not show up.

You get what you pay for.

We understand things happen. We get to the property and find that it was dirty. We didnt know until check in that the washer machine was not useable and that last through our entire trip. The home itself had not been mopped or swept in some time. Then i took the time to clean before settling in with a shop vacuum and broom. As that was all that was available. The space was efficient for us as a family of 5 . The dinner table is too small. The location is accurate as far as a short walk to the beach.

Review

Overall had a great time. We really enjoyed the ping pong table and that the house had plenty of utensils, plates, cups, etc. Especially plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc. We had a great stay and loved the house!

Great location- spacious for my family

The location of the house is great-it’s only a short walk to the public beach access. Plenty of room for my family of seven and they had fun using the ping pong table and Basketball game. There was consistency in other reviews, such as the warmth of the front room, though fans were available. We also left the door cracked and was comfortable. The house does have an odor when you walk in, like a musky smell or animal smell, but it is clean and it was not overwhelming. All of our questions were addressed in a timely manner. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this property for a family.

We had a great visit, enjoying the quick walk to the beach, shops and food right near by and the home itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable! Definitely recommend staying here! We will certainly do so as a family the next time that we travel to the coast. :)

Great Experience

We had a death in our family and a storm which prevented us from coming both days but overall the property was clean, convenient and welcoming. My only bad experience was that my bed fell at some point during the night for no reason. Other than that it was good. The property is close to the beach and Mac Daddy's arcade. The kids enjoyed that
