Reconnect with family or friends in this oceanview vacation rental named "Morning Mist." With just a short walk down to the beach access, you'll have your toes in the sand or your fishing lines in the surf in no time. The spacious screened porch is a perfect place to serve a meal, play a game with the kids, or relax with your favorite beach read. The main living area is open and airy with vaulted ceilings and a front porch sliding door.

~1300 Sq Ft 4 bedroom 2 bathroom cozy beach cottage, space for reconnecting with loved ones, playing games, cooking a meal, or enjoying the back deck while grilling. This oceanside property is a very short 2-minute walk to the beach and .6 miles to the public boat ramp and a short driving distance to grocery stores, pharmacies, and other activities (kayaking, boating, hiking trails). Situated in a semi-private neighborhood with very light traffic.

Home Amenities: Huge screened porch off the back of the home with a dining table and additional seating for relaxing in the shade. Enclosed outside shower under the carport for rinsing off sandy feet, beach equipment, or to cool off after an afternoon at the beach with the family. Gas grill just off the screened porch so that you can cook family meals with an ocean view.

Outdoor Amenities: A guest storage closet is located under the carport, equipped with a full-size refrigerator, two bikes, four beach chairs, one beach umbrella, and a beach cart for carrying your beach items.

Kitchen: Well-stocked with a toaster oven, dishware, flatware, microwave, oven, dishwasher, blender, baking pans, and coffee maker.

General: A/C & heating, Full-size washer and dryer just off the kitchen, WiFi, linens and towels, fresh duvet covers, and beds made before arrival. Starter pack of toiletries (1 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 trash bags, dishwasher soap and hand soap.

Parking: Onsite parking, enough for 5 cars. 2 cars under the carport and two just behind that. A small parking pad with rock at the end of the driveway could be used for a boat trailer 32x11 space.

We loved this beach home! The property was very clean and the short walk to the beach was perfect. The outdoor space was very nice as well. Lots of beach gear provided. The outdoor shower was a nice feature. We would book this rental again!

Beautiful home by the beach

The home was very clean and close walk to the beach. The only down fall was that there was little communication regarding needing to bring trash bags, shampoo, and other toiletries. We had one trash bag for a 4 day stay and 8 people. We also didn’t bring coffee as most places have a Keurig. We ended up buying coffee but the coffee maker was not really working properly for us. So we didn’t use it after the first day. All in all a great place but having the essentials of home would have been nice considering we were so far away and didn’t drive.

Awesome location

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the house and location. Home was fully stocked, beautiful, short walk to the beach, clean, and a great location to everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again! We were all bummed to leave. Communication was on point so if you ever need anything the host replies quickly.

Overall the house was a nice spot for our family beach vacay. It was very close to the beach, had a lovely patio and deck, and was stocked with all the essentials. The cleanliness could’ve been a bit better, and small details like missing batteries on remotes should be addressed.

Excellent location and amenities.

Very smooth process for entry and departure. Everything was great quality, including the cookware! Hard to find pots and pans that are great to use in a rental. The screened in porch was used more than anything I think. Ample beach chairs, a wagon, and two Shibumi shades for the beach!! Will definitely stay here again.

Short Vacay

We stayed for a few days in late August. the beaches were great - almost totally empty. The house is a few houses off the beach - an easy walk and the host provided some chairs and stuff along with a cart to haul stuff to the beach. House was nice a clean and we appreciated that it was stocked with some of the essentials. Also, the screened porch was huge and was where we spent time when at the house.

Lovely stay at a charming EI beach house

This charming beach house is nicely situated in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach via a private boardwalk. Very clean inside and well-stocked. The extra refrigerator, beach wagon and chairs were especially helpful. The large screened-in porch with dining area and fire table gathering area made for special evenings. We also enjoyed the private hot-water outdoor shower. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. We were very happy with our stay!

Great Beach Stay

My family greatly enjoyed this house. It was a very easy daily walk to the beach, super close to a boat ramp, and had one of the best equipped kitchens of any rental we've been in. We would definitely return in the future!

Perfect location! The home was super clean with everything you might want. Brand new pots and pans as well as dishes. Also, all the spices you might need as well. Loved our stay

We had a great time staying here over the last week. Just a short walk to the beach with plenty of room for our family of 5. We really enjoyed having the screened in porch in the back and a nice view of the ocean from the front porch. Checking in and out was a breeze. It’s clear the property is very well maintained, clean, and well set up for a family stay. I’d recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Emerald Isle. We would love to come back in the future!

Amazing location and beautiful home. Communication with host could have been better!

This home was steps away from the beach! The location was my favorite part about our stay. The house was amazing and we really loved the porch! My only complaint is that the communication with our host was not the best. She said there was a welcome book with instructions and there was not. I communicated this with her and she did not address my concern. There are a few things that were hard to figure out without the welcome book such as: how to find the keys to the storage space that had the extra fridge and all of the beach chairs, bikes etc. and what the WiFi was and so on
 one other complaint was that our reservation said checkout at 11 am, but then the host messaged me a checkout list the day before with the checkout time listed at 10 am. These complaints are things that could easily be fixed by the host to make the guests experience seamless. All in all, everything was great other than the communication with the host.

Nice Beach Home - As Advertised

We had a wonderful stay at this beach home. Everything was exactly as advertised and the pictures posted are 100% accurate. The communication with Jamie was prompt and professional. The bedrooms are laid out very nicely to give everyone their own space, the balconies (front and back) provide nice views, the beach is a very short and comfortable walk down the street. I would recommend this house and look forward to perhaps visiting again one day.

3 nights at Morning Mist

Comfortable house, well equipped, usually when we rent there are instructions about wi fi, TV etc, how to leave the sheets/ towels, etc. No cheat sheet but we figured things out.. My only complaint is that it was advertised as sleeping 10, but really only slept 8, luckily kids came and went, so it worked out fine.
