Second row from the beach, Bodhi's Retreat is a stone's throw from public beach access with a beautiful tree-lined path to the beach. A rare beach A-frame, this stylishly upgraded home creates a boutique-style beach retreat unlike anything else on Emerald Isle.

Perfect for couples, friends, or small family gatherings, Bodhi's Retreat offers a unique alternative to the mega-mansions that dominate the island--warm, stylish, modern comforts and upgrades, and memorable from the moment you arrive.

Location, location, location! Just steps from a lovely public beach access, you'll stroll to the ocean along a serene tree-canopied path--one of Emerald Isle's hidden gems. Spend your days playing in the surf, fishing, shelling, or reading under the sun. When you're ready for restaurants, ice cream, or shopping, the island's central district is just 3.2 miles away. We provide beach cruisers so you can enjoy Emerald Isle's well-maintained bike path that runs the length of the island.

About the Home
This A-Frame is "small but mighty" with soaring ceilings and an airy open layout that feels bright, relaxing, and inviting.

Sleeping Arrangements
• Primary Suite - Ground Floor
Spacious master bedroom with king bed and full bathroom. Large smart TV, chest of drawers, and spacious closet.
• Loft Bedroom - Upper Level (top of the A)
A loft bedroom overlooks the main living space on the second floor and features two twin beds. IMPORTANT! PLEASE REVIEW PHOTOS OF THE MODULAR STAIRS TO THE 2ND BEDROOM IN THE LOFT.

Bathrooms
• Two full bathrooms, each with showers. One connected to the master bedroom on the ground floor and one on the second floor in the main living area. The bathroom connected to the master bedroom features double shower heads.
• Brand new outdoor shower for rinsing off sandy feet and salty hair.

The A-frame had all of the comforts of home, and more!! Bicycles and beach chairs there to use. Comfy king bed with wonderful linens. Upstairs, another bath and kitchen-living room combo, with a record player and great selection of albums. Sitting on the porch was like relaxing in a tree house! The beach path is directly across the street. We loved our stay and hope to return!

Beautiful space. Many thoughtful details. High quality towels, sheets, kitchen supplies. Great deck. Private landscaping. Utilitarian, clean design. California surf vibe. We brought bikes and 2 nice beach cruisers were provided. This alone elevated our stay! Short walk to the beach. We could hear the ocean from the deck. Surprisingly loud. We loved playing albums - Johnny Cash. The space is small, intentional and maximized. We hope to return. Small snafu with lock, but owners were extremely responsive. This house does permit dogs as does the beach. We did not realize and our allergic family member seemed to land his luggage on the bit of floor that got missed by a vacuum. Some sneezing! Still worth it!
