Located right in the centre of the prosperous town of Empoli, the villa is protected, as the shell protects its pearl, by a fence and by the majestic trees that surround it. You cannot fail to feel shivers down your spine at the sight of the villa which is seen in all its serenity and splendour at the end of the cypress-lined drive. An abode of another age, built at the beginning of the 20th century, it is an expression of eclectic-neoclassical architecture that emerges from the ornamentation that covers the façade, from the materials that make it up and finish it off; white predominates the interior and exterior with all its power, all its passion and its ability to enhance beauty, elegance and refinement. The interior is enriched with marble and wood, high quality finishes used in the renovation that has been done in the deepest respect for the original characteristics of the period; this is why it seems that time has stopped, whether you are inside or outside the villa, yet, at the same time, you will enjoy the best comforts of the modern age. 700 square metres of simple luxury which will immediately captivate you, four floors where you will find the best place in which you have always wanted to spend your holiday, the best dream in which to find peace of mind and body, just a stone's throw from history, art, culture, shopping, food and wine. Majestic staircases and a lift connect the floors from the basement to the attic; on the ground floor the 210 square metres consist mainly of the living areas, reading rooms, a beautiful fireplace as well as the kitchen and dining room and also a private bedroom with bathroom in a style that combines elegance and practicality, modernity with neoclassical inspiration. On the first floor are three bedrooms, including the master suite which includes a large private sitting room, a dressing room and a magnificent bathroom with shower and a round tub located just below the window overlooking the pool, plus a spectacular terrace for exclusive use. The attic, 145 square metres of loft with white beamed ceiling and wooden floor, an exclusive, completely independent, space with kitchen, living area, sitting room, double bedroom with bathroom and a fully furnished pocket terrace with a wonderful view over the roofs of the town. During the day you can go to the basement to enjoy the best of relaxation in the fitness and wellness area that the villa reserves for its guests; from here you go directly out to the swimming pool which can also be used in winter as it is fitted with a modern cover that turns it into a closed and heated area in the coldest periods. Interior:
The villa has 4 floors connected by a large marble staircase or internal lift. The main entrance to the villa is via a staircase and a terrace leading directly into a 60 sq m living room with wood-burning fireplace, a TV room and a large kitchen. Adjacent, on a second level, is the dining room. A corridor leads to a bathroom for use of the living area, to a large bedroom, that can be converted into a twin, with private bathroom, and to a storage room with access to a chute for linen to be deposited in the laundry. In the basement next to the portico is a wellness area with gym, Turkish bath, bathroom with emotional shower, relaxation area, kitchen, laundry and ironing room. On the first floor a large corridor leads to the master suite located on a corner of the villa consisting of a hallway with access, on the right, to an private sitting room for exclusive use and, on the left, to the bedroom and to a double-sided sliding door leading to the bathroom. All the rooms of the master suite open onto a terrace for exclusive use that overlooks the swimming pool. The corridor leads to a second double bedroom that can be converted into a twin, with two windows overlooking the entrance staircase with a view of the park, complete with bathroom with shower, and to a third double bedroom also complete with bathroom. The attic: a loft in a sole, two-level space with wooden ceiling, composed of a large living area, a kitchen/dining/TV area, a corner with desk and bookcase, a bedroom lit by a ceiling skylight, a bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet, whirlpool tub and shower, and a pocket terrace. Park:
The property is surrounded by an 1800 sq m park and has two distinct entrances: the main gate opens onto the cypress-lined drive that leads to the entrance staircase to the villa while the other, separate, with access from via Rossini, leads to the parking area. The park is planted mainly with lawn and is surrounded, along the entire perimeter, by tall green trees framing this small realm and protecting it from prying eyes, ensuring total privacy and serenity for those who choose to live there. In the centre of the park is the swimming pool: overlooking it there is a veranda defined by glass doors and equipped as a dining and reading area, with sofas, tables, and armchairs, fournished with wi-fi and music system. The veranda is connected to the pool tunnel, and can be a unique space of 180 square meters that can be fully enclosed and enjoyed even during the winter months.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The rectangular swimming pool, lined in resplendent mother-of-pearl tiles with lifesaving edge, measures 10 x 6 m with the depth varying from 0.90 to 2.20 m. Equipped with a hydromassage area with circular seating, a counter-current swimming system and a decorative wall which, besides the shower, provides plays of water and light, the pool is surrounded by a solarium in white marble. Located next to the veranda which can be reached from both the park and from the wellness area in the villa, the pool has an extensible cover that covers the entire surface The pool is equipped with an extendable cover that covers its entire surface, forming a unity with the veranda featuring openable glass doors, so that it can be used in winter as it is also equipped with heating and hot water (the environment reaches a temperature from 24° to 30/32°. The water temperature reaches a maximum of 35°). In both the park and the solarium are sunbeds so that you can take the best advantage of this truly unique environment.
