This Luxury Tuscan Accessory Guest Unit is located in the heart of Encinitas. Attached to a multimillion dollar home: this unit has a lot of charm, it is well decorated, very comfortable, and has its own private entry. There is a Deluxe Queen Sized Bed. Relax in the Bathtub after a great day at Moonlight Beach. There are 10 ft. high ceilings, beautiful granite counter tops, rustic knotty alder wood cabinets, and travertine stone tiles throughout. A small private tropical patio will allow you to enjoy nice BBQs. The Guest Unit is only a few blocks to Moonlight Beach, and around the corner from Downtown Encinitas' Restaurant Row and boutiques. Also, a short drive to Legoland, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo. Owner prefers you park on the street close by and if there is no street parking you can park on the west side or left side in the drive way. Property sleeps 3: Queen Sized Bed, a futon, and an Air Bed

The property description used the words "Charming, Elegant, Luxury." It may have been at one time but now "old and tired" would more accurate. Some appliances did not work, the ancient keypad door lock was awkward to use, and the furniture could stand an upgrade. However, being able to walk to the beach and downtown made up for some of these shortcomings. All things considered, we had a positive experience at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed our month long stay in Joe’s apartment. The location couldn’t be better. We walked everywhere. Initial minor issues were quickly addressed & resolved. The shower was great. In situ washer & dryer was a huge plus. Upgrades to kitchen supplies & furnishings would be a welcome improvement but overall a very satisfying stay.

What a wonderful space! The location is perfect for walking to the beach, downtown to shops and restaurants. The apartment was even nicer than expected: tall ceilings, washer and dryer, comfortable living space, nice bathroom! The owner was friendly, helpful and clear communication. Not as expected. For starters, we arrived 20 mins after check-in and the place was still being cleaned. The A/C wasn’t working and rooms weren’t cooling off with the windows open. It was too hot to sleep in and we weren’t hearing back from the host. Once we heard back he said he wouldn’t have a remote for the A/C until after our visit. On top of that, there was an ant infestation throughout the kitchen and we couldn’t leave anything on the counters. When we addressed this issue, the host was dismissive. The only positive to this stay was the location.

I stayed here with my daughter and it was perfect. 2 blocks from the beach. 2 blocks from down town Encinitas. A short walk to everything we needed. Clean. Amazing tall ceilings. A tall person’s paradise.

Great Moonlight Beach stay

This Encinitas property was a great find. Everything was as described and it was a wonderful accommodation as respite from our remodel at home. Our host let us know he was very available as needed. What a great walkable neighborhood to the beach, coffee, restaurants etc. We are definitely planning a return!

Moonlight Beach Is Steps Away

What a great location in Encinitas CA. Moonlight Beach is my new Favorite beach of all!!! The property is very clean and I felt very safe here. I definitely would come back again and stay here!!! The owner was easy to text and got back to me right away!
