The house is super cute!!!! Lovely spot on the beach! Take note that there is a beach access easement for the people across the street so there are people who come through the driveway to get to the beach but they seemed very respectful! Lots of shells and shark teeth and beautiful sunsets! We will be back!

Our stay was simply perfect. The kitchen had nice quality pots and pans and plenty of dishes. Everything in the home was well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed many dinners on the large deck overlooking the Gulf. Our host, Andrew, could not have been more accommodating. We had an issue with the stove and he immediately sent someone over to fix it. My family loved walking out the door to go shark tooth hunting! I highly recommend the Turtle House.

Location was the best. Home was very dated. AC could not keep home at desired temperature during daytime. Furniture needs updated. Not very comfortable. Home was not level. Perhaps this because it got wet and bowed the floors. Bugs were a crazy problem.

We have been coming to Manasota for 4 years now. Our condo we stayed at previously was destroyed in the hurricane. I was so bummed thinking I wouldn’t find anything we liked as much as the condo that was almost in the water! I am so thankful I found The Turtle House! We Had an amazing time! The home was gorgeous and clean. The views were incredible and we can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful beach vacation house, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking ocean views and the soothing sound of waves crashing on the shore. Location: 🌊🌮 The house is perfectly situated right on the beach, offering easy access to the sand and surf. We loved waking up to the sunrise over the ocean and enjoying our morning coffee on the spacious deck. Amenities: 🏠✹ The house itself has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a cozy living area. The outdoor space is fantastic, with plenty of seating for lounging. Comfort: đŸ›ïžđŸŒŸ The beds were incredibly comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house, such as beach towels and chairs. The air conditioning kept us cool during the hot afternoons, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Activities: đŸ–ïž There was never a dull moment during our stay. We spent our days swimming, sunbathing, and fishing. In the evenings, we enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck. Overall Experience: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This beach vacation house was the perfect place to relax and unwind. If you’re looking for a peaceful beach getaway, this is the place for you!

Family vacation

The house was nice we had plenty of room for the 5 of us. We did learn that it’s best to do laundry in the evening. It get’s pretty warm in the house if you do it during the day, with that being said some more oscillating fans would be helpful. Downstairs was a bit musty smelling but we just opened up the windows and it was fine. The dart board could use an update. But all in all

Our Stay

The location is wonderful, the house is next to the beach. The house was clean but we saw three roaches in three different locations of the house. The description of the property says it sleeps 8 people and is true except that the sofa bed frame is broken and the mattress is old and impossible to sleep on. My son in law had to get an air mattress for the remainder of the stay. The house describes shampoo but there was none, the toilet paper was the cheapest and there was a lack of basic amenities. Finally the grill was filthy and rusted. We love Manasota and this is our third time on the key. I don’t think I will go back to the turtle house.

Wonderful place to stay!

Andrew was great and very accommodating! House was beautiful and comfortable. Would be great place with kids. The view was exceptional and short walk to beach with lots of sea shells and sharks teeth. Made a wonderful vacation, would definitely stay there again!

Phenomenal location & home!

My family of 6 had the best time at this property. The beach is only steps away from the house which made it so easy & stress-free to take everyone down without having to load tons of drinks/snacks for the day. We could easily walk back to the house anytime someone wanted something! The house itself was incredible. We actually spent a ton of time on the porch, as it was shaded and breezy. No sign of bugs or any issues while we were there. Restaurants are all just a few minutes drive. The host was helpful with suggestions & questions. Would absolutely book one of Andrew’s properties again! Can’t say enough good about our trip. 💛

What a great experience and beautiful location! We are from Miami and we never get tired of great finds like this one. Andrew was really nice and attentive, and extremely accommodating. We were right on the beach! Exclusivity is a guarantee. Will definitely be returning again!

Unclean Property

Arrived at property an hour and a half after check in time. Check in was very easy. Walked into Turtle House to find rotting bananas on kitchen table, food in refrigerator, beds unmade, bathrooms dirty, jacket on couch, laundry hanging out of the dryer, etc. House had not been cleaned. Host was messaged, and he called back in a timely fashion. We canceled our reservation and requested a full refund. After two phone calls to VRBO over the next two days, they confirmed the full refund would be coming in 5-7 days. This was a disappointing, frustrating and very inconvenient experience.

A little of everything

This was fantastic location with tropical plants surrounding the house leading out to the vast waterfront. I've stayed at several VRBOs. The one thing I was a bit concerned with is the lack of incidental items for cooking - oils and spices. Other than that... it was super!

Quite secluded on the beach. Wonderful if you are looking for this. Short drive to stores. As a long term stay be prepared to stock your own necessities. Definitely furnished as a rental. Overall a great experience

Shark Tooth Heaven

Stayed in the Turtle House for a week. Everything we needed was there. The house was clean and had sufficient cookware and towels. The loft ceiling is a bit low, so you might want to use that area for children only. You’ll need a fan up there! The lower area under the house was great to use during thunderstorms. “Shark tooth hunting” was the reason for our visit and this area did not disappoint! Two thumbs up for The Turtle House.

Best Ever! This home was amazing! Perfect location (steps from private beach) Close to dying and grocery shopping, James well cared for and immaculate and I stocked with everything I needed. Andrew, the manager was very helpful and responsive to any questions. This is the second time rented features from Andrew
