This was definitely one of our favorite vacation rentals. Absolutely beautiful! Very peaceful, yet close proximity to town and restaurants, bars, and a casino. We really enjoyed ourselves, and our dog had the time of her life. We highly recommend! We would definitely come back, but we don't vacation in the same area twice. Kayaking on the Ford River

The house was wonderful and had everything that you would needed to cook. We usually ate breakfast and dinner at the house. There are pots and pans, plates and even spices that are there for your use. The house was very comfortable and inviting. We brought our own kayaks, but if you don’t have any, there are 4 on the property to use. We grilled out a few times and we spent a lot of time on the deck watching the river and the deer that would be across the river. It was so peaceful and Steve and Audra were very nice. Peaceful get away with all the modern conveniences

This property was exactly as listed. It was very clean. But this property had more than most VRBO properties I’ve stayed at. There were ample towels of all sizes in the bathroom, ample toilet paper (not just a couple starter rolls), and cabinets and drawers were labeled with their contents. They even provided a pooper scooper and waste bags for our doggos. It was a dog friendly property. There was tons of seating, whether in the dining room, kitchen, or outdoor by the grill and even down by the river. Access to four kayaks was also an added bonus to this property. Communication was great with the hosts, they answered any questions we had quickly. This is a great property and I’d highly recommend it to others.

Perfect cottage!

The cottage was in a beautiful area of Escanaba. However, the entire upper peninsula of Michigan is beautiful. Escanaba has everything you need for a vacation. The upper peninsula has many points of interest. We really enjoyed the Pictured Rocks cruise.

Great weekend on Ford River

We had an excellent stay at Riverland Lodge. The place is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. As soon as you walk in you feel at home. The river view and property are amazing. We visited many friends in the area and looked at a few houses for sale as we hope to return full time. Owners are very kind with great communication. Our dogs loved walks on the property and the River. We had fantastic weather as well. Thank you for sharing this peaceful gem.

We visited early spring and the place was very nice. Clean and comfortable and right on the river! It seems like a really great place to be, especially in warmer weather - we came the week of snow and ice so outdoor activities were limited but still enjoyed the getaway.
