The Space
Trailhead of Estes is a comfortable mountain condo in the Marys Lake area of Estes Park, designed as a home base for hiking, wildlife viewing, scenic drives, lake days, downtown Estes Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park. (LN 6235)
This condo is ideal for couples, families, small groups, hikers, and explorers who want a peaceful place to relax while staying close to the best of Estes Park. Enjoy mountain views, fresh alpine air, and convenient access to trails and attractions without being right in the middle of town.

The condo sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms and a pull-out couch in the living room. The primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, mountain views from every window, and a spacious ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and dual shower heads. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, TV, and access to a full bathroom attached to the bedroom and shared with the main living area.
The living room includes a pull-out couch, 2 reclining chairs, gas fireplace, TV, and large windows with mountain views. It is an easy space to gather after a day of hiking, watch a movie, warm up by the fireplace, play games, or plan the next day’s adventure.
The kitchen is one of the larger kitchens in the complex, as this was the builder’s unit, and is fully stocked for a comfortable stay. Guests will have cookware, utensils, dishes, glassware, coffee essentials, meal prep items, a full-size refrigerator, oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, bar seating, dining table, and a wine cooler for chilled drinks after a day outside.
Step onto the oversized private porch to enjoy mountain views, fresh air, outdoor dining, and the grill. It is a great place for morning coffee, dinner at sunset, or relaxing after exploring Estes Park. Wildlife is part of the Estes Park experience, and elk are often seen throughout the area, especially in fall and winter.
Trailhead of Estes is being set up with hikers and explorers in mind. We provide 2 hiking backpacks and trail-friendly gear so guests can arrive, drop off their luggage, and head straight toward the trails.

Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire condo except for an owner’s closet.
Guests may also enjoy the community pool and hot tub, typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. These amenities are managed by the HOA, so availability may vary due to weather, maintenance, repairs, or seasonal operating decisions.
Rocky Mountain National Park Timed Entry Notice
RMNP uses a timed entry reservation system during peak season, typically late May through mid-October. Timed entry may be required for certain areas and entry times, including Bear Lake Road. Reservations are made through Recreation.gov and are separate from the park entrance fee or park pass.
Reservations can sell out quickly, especially on weekends, holidays, and peak summer dates. Guests should review the official Rocky Mountain National Park website before their trip, as rules, dates, entry windows, and availability may change.

During the snowy months of the year (October-May) we strongly RECOMMEND a 4WD/AWD vehicle.
🚙 ATV/UTV Policy
Please note that unlicensed vehicles (like ATVs or UTVs) cannot be driven on county roads. We recommend trailering them to nearby off-road trails.
🐾 No Pets
We love animals, but this home is pet-free. Unauthorized pets may result in a deep cleaning fee to maintain our allergy-friendly space.
🚭 No Smoking
Absolutely no smoking inside the home. A deep cleaning fee will apply if smoke is detected indoors.
⏰ Checkout Time
Please respect the designated checkout time. Late departures may incur additional fees, as we need time to prepare for the next guests.
🎉 No Parties or Events
To keep things peaceful for everyone, we do not allow parties or events at this property.
👥 Guest Count
The number of guests must not exceed what is listed on your reservation, unless approved in writing ahead of time.
🔇 Quiet Hours
Per HOA guidelines, quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. Thank you for being considerate of our neighbors!
🔒 Firearms
Please do not leave firearms unattended on the property for safety reasons. If left behind, we will securely store it for you to retrieve.
📦 No Mail or Packages
We are unable to accept mail or packages at the home. Please ship items to a local Amazon Locker or UPS store.
🏢 No Commercial Use
This property may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written approval.
🔧 Amenity Malfunctions & Refunds
While we strive to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay, please note that certain amenities—such as community hot tubs, pools, or fire pits —are managed by the HOA and are outside of our direct control. Occasional malfunctions may occur and refunds for broken or unavailable amenities are not offered, but we will report the issue promptly and do everything we can to assist in getting it resolved. Your comfort is important to us, and we truly appreciate your understanding!
