Bree, Ben, and Victoria were very helpful to me personally. But generally nice staff. I’m still staying here intermittently. This is a review for / by a diagnosed disabled obsessive compulsive disorder person. So my scrutiny is a little extreme. But I’m giving a thumbs up. The south motel 6 is a different type of place than the north motel 6. They have the same manager but motel 6 north is the problem child. If you have OCD about noise/cleanliness/safety, you should go to motel 6 south. The higher price is worth it just because of parking lot cleanliness. I checked both my rooms that I’ve stayed in at motel 6 south with a UV light. I know you shouldn’t at any motel. But I can’t help myself. I can attest I found mostly “normal living” UV wall stains like sneeze spatter stains, hand washing splash stains, toilet splash stains. Nothing coming up on UV on the furniture. Nothing coming up on UV for the light switches. Minimal UV stains in the shower like people wash off who knows what. But seemingly little to nothing “gross” showing on UV anywhere except around the toilet. Where you would reasonably expect to find gross UV stains. OCD person thumbs up. 👍

Cheap but clean room. Large hole in the bathroom door but again, fixtures and floor clean for a quick stay. Our stay was quiet at night so we got good sleep but by early morning there was a large group of shady people creating noise out front. Conveniently located next to Denny’s and a gas station with a large convenience store. Management was nice and polite.

Victoria was super helpful. She’s a sincere communicator and just a hospitable person. Bree saved me a huge hassle and kept me in the same room when the Expedia system tried switching me. Everyone was satisfactory as host employees. But Bree & Victoria deserve a shout out. This place is cleaner and better maintained than you would expect. I feel lucky to have stayed here. Not all Motel 6 are this clean and courteous. Don’t go to the north Eugene motel 6, the slight increase in price is very worth it.

The place is the best you can hope for from a motel. It’s better than the motel 6 north Eugene location. By far. The staff are more professional. They don’t act like they hate their life. Victoria has been very helpful. And Bree fixed my booking without even being asked. She saw a problem on the books and solved it. I don’t find any poop around the outside here. It’s pretty clean. The rooms are also really clean and comfortable by comparison. Their rooms amenities reflect what’s really there. No “your room doesn’t actually have a microwave or fridge” when you arrive. North Eugene motel 6, the other one, is way different. It’s gross. Their staff are rude and they hate everyone. South Eugene motel 6, this one, is far superior.

The comparison between north Eugene/Springfield and south Eugene/Springfield Motel 6 is absurd. South is better by far. South does not have dog poo everywhere. North has dog poo EVERYWHERE outside. North has drug addicts running amok. South suffers from none of these problems. Victoria, and long haired night dude are especially great. His name was like Brad, or Brayden, Brandon, Bryce, Bruce, Biff, Ben. Or maybe not a B name at all. I’d live here if I could. Not joking. It’s that nice.

Pro: The night time staff was professional and courteous. My flight was delayed and I wasn’t able to check in until 1:00 am- it was a nice welcome after a really long travel day. Walking distance to a nice Denny’s. Cons: Homeless people and drug users around the property. Vent in bathroom shares ducts with other rooms. Our room was overwhelmed by the scent of marijuana on several occasions.

Visible from US I-5, easy to find and get to!

I prefer to stay at locations that are easy to spot from the interstate and get on and off from. I al look love when there is a restaurant and gas station next door. This property is next door to a DENNY's. And a gas station is next to that..
