Secluded Charming Cabin in the woods, dog friendly, stone fireplace, jucuzzi tub
Charm, comfort and privacy are awaiting you! The cabin is located on 20 unique acres, only 1/4 mile off Hwy 62, situated in a hollow. Seems like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet within minutes be in town. Wood burning stone fireplace, wood is provided, PK charcoal grill. (charcoal not provided) The cabin is within minutes of the Great Passion Play's hiking and biking trails. Enjoy evenings by the creek side fire pit viewing the starry night skies. The living area has a queen size sofa pullout. There is another cottage nearby that shares the fire pit. NO INTERNET /No Cable, but, there is a TV, DVD and movies and best cell service is with Verizon.
Wow, beautiful property, cute cabin, relaxing hot tub, chill spots everywhere, and oh so quiet!!! We loved it. Betsy is great and she loves your pups too. What a joy to bring our fur family!!!
This cabin is so comfortable and Betsy has made sure that you have everything you need to cook beautiful meals, relax in AC for the summer, sleep like a baby, have some entertainment in the form of games and throwback dvds and be surrounded by a quiet and peaceful environment. The fact that it is dog friendly is just the icing on the cake. You won't regret this stay.
Great cabin and host. Everything you need is there. Very secluded(keep in mind you are literally disconnected no cell service or internet). Close to everything though. Careful on the drive a little steep and bumpy.
Nice little secluded cabin. One note is the road is pretty steep gravel and a bit rough. We had an suv so it was fine, but a small car might be a bit tough.
9.5 out of 10!Very clean except a small amount of mildew at side of tub. Very impressed with the amenities. Little extras like binoculars, flashlight and dehumidifier. Soft sheets and soft TP.Would recommend a safety grab bar at the shower. Instructions for the jacuzzi since I have never used one.Quiet area. There is another cabin in the hollow but not in sight of the cabin. You may hear voices or a dog bark. There is a steep grade to reach the spring creek but one can also walk down a less steep gravel road.I would recommend a vehicle with more ground clearance or a car undercarriage might get scrapped.Owner was quick to respond to any questions/concerns.This cabin had everything that we needed. It was only 15 minutes from Eureka Springs. Very convenient yet felt like we were in the woods. Highly recommend.
Perfect peaceful cabin. I had two dogs who loved hiking in the woods behind the cabin. It is the most dog friendly place I have stayed. The owners trusted us to be respectful of their property without placing any rules or "to do's" on the dogs. I hope to be able to return there someday. I highly recommend the cabin to my friends.Thank you.
Staying in the cabin felt like I was 3 hours deep into the woods when in reality itâs 2 minutes off the main road. Peaceful, quiet, excellent nature to explore.
After working for 2 & 1/2 weeks helping a disabled friend, this was the perfect place to stay for a couple days of rest and relaxation. The cabin was perfect for my husband and our little puppy dog! Beautiful surroundings if you like nature! The spring feed creek was a delight! We will be back!
Beautiful little cabin in the woods. Close to everything you need, yet quiet and peaceful inside and out. Wonderful little creek runs through the property. We wish we had taken advantage of the fire pits before it rained -fully prepared with wood already in place. Nice trail into the woods that leads to a pretty waterfall. My dogs LOVED exploring the property. The red cabin, that other reviews mention, is nearby, yet very difficult to see when you are in this cabin so it was not an issue for us. No internet, and minimal cell service (we are with Verizon - could receive basic text and make calls, but unable to go online or use hotspot) so great to disconnect for the weekend. Property had many DVD's, yet could not get the tv work with the DVD player. No instructions so no movies for us = more card games and more book reading- a nice break from our busy lives! Cabin was very clean. Space heaters, fans, and a window a/c so you can be comfortable in any weather. Queen bed very comfy. Tub shower combo has high sides to step over. Could be difficult for people with mobility issues. Gravel drive to the property was moderately steep, but no problems with our SUV. Location was excellent - close to downtown Eureka Springs, right off Hwy 62, easy to find. We were there for area hiking and he Passion play â easy access to all of that. Overall a great property for the two of us and our two dogs. We definitely recommend this cozy cabin and would be delighted to stay here again.
Private, beautiful layout we could live in this cabin permanently. Only slight problem we had was the DVD quit working for some unknown reason and Betsy brought another one within a few minutes. Since our stay happened to be timed on a very rainy weekend the supply of moves kept us entertained.
This was an amazingly quiet getaway from the noise of everyday life, but still close enough to Eureka Springs for quick access to restaurants and and shops. We would gladly stay here again!
An amazing find. Down a little dirt road and into a quiet area in the woods and hills, with a creek for the pup to run in and a big hill to wear him out on. It was wonderful to sit out at night around the fire pit and just look at stars. We loved this place. Inside was a perfect cabin home.
