Comfortable stay

Excellent location, no parking on site but there is a multi storey car park a short walk away. Rooms are spacious with everything you need and the rooftop bar is good if a little understaffed at busy times. Breakfast was good and the service couldn’t be faulted

Indigo Hotels never disappoint. This one was no exception. The reception team were polite and helpful, the room was nicely appointed. It was a warm few days and the air con was great.. You couldn't hear it and my stay was comfortable. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel and clean. Lovely staff during arrival. And during the evening too. But breakfast wasn’t such a nice experience, staff member was quite rude, and we were waiting around for a while to order. We had to ask a member of staff for drinks. Breakfast for what we paid wasn’t worth it. Would definitely stay again but not for breakfast

Very comfortable hotel right in the center of Exeter. You can only get to it on foot (the last 50 meters) so do not bring lots of bags.

Great central hotel in Exeter

Lovely hotel with a very nice breakfast. Rooms are well appointed and everywhere is easily walkable from the central city location. We will be back!

Great hotel but badly let down by poor staffing. The hotel and room were lovely. Well maintained, good furniture, clean, quiet, and great blackout curtains. Beds were comfy. But woeful lack of staff for breakfast. Gave up after 30 mins and did without. Had to leave without even getting a coffee. Why hotels scrimp on such small sums - ruined the whole experience. It was a busy day but entirely predictable and everyone I spoke to who had the same issue has booked months ago. It’s a uni town - plenty of people want work! No excuse.

My stay at The indigo hotel in Exeter

Overall the staff were excellent! Unfortunately we had a mix up and our room which was over booked but we were put in a very nice room and complimentary breakfast was offered. The Spa was lovely too. Big downside was the parking. Very expensive in the local multi story £16.50 for 24 hours

The only downside with this property is becketts, the bar on the roof… it just feels like a missed opportunity. The staff were not too familiar with the drinks and unfortunately the cocktails tasted plastic… pre made in a bottle not freshly made to order… the view is amazing… if they can sort the drinks,offer proper cocktails and table service then it’s a gold mine!
