The location was perfect -- near a beach/bay, in a sweet village, close to a picturesque town with a grocery store and food (but far enough away for northern lights viewing), near a few horse stables, near the Golden Circle, and great for a day-trip to Vik! Large apartment, with well stocked kitchen, good shower. Modern property but with some bits broken eg thermostat in one bedroom. Additional lamp lighting is mounted onto bed frames but has a large bolt facing towards the bed which wasn’t safe for children that potentially move about whilst asleep (we removed it). Would recommend!

We absolutely LOVED this family-owned and run hotel! Our studio apartment was clean, comfortable, and "well-appointed." We only had trouble with the coffee maker, but that was likely "user error" ... LOL! The owner, Johan, is a PERFECT GENTLEMAN! HOWEVER, he though we would NOT see the Aurora, but, we MOST CERTAINLY DID!!!
