Wow! This hotel was so aesthetically pleasing from the reception desk to the restaurant, rooms and spa area mirroring the landscape outside. Coffee, tea and bathroom extras such as makeup remover cloths. We were able to check in early and enjoy the hot tub and then wrap ourselves in thick terry robes and slippers. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also delicious with several menu items different from all the lamb and arctic char on others in Iceland. Yes, the price point was a little higher but a nice splurge on the south coast.

Nice hotel, well kept and helpful staff. The restaurant on site is excellent, tho the drinks are very pricey. We did have an issue with our room smelling aweful, but the front desk addressed it quickly and gave us another room.

Booked this hotel because we were doing some sight seeing in the south east of Iceland. This location was quite close to Diamond Beach. It was very nice. The room upgrade to an ocean view room was amazing. Breakfast included was very good with lots of options. We had stayed at a hotel in Reykjavik throughout the rest of the week, but wish we could have stayed at this one longer, very nice. Hot tub was very relaxing and the front desk also offered a wake up call for if there were Northern Lights. Highly recommend staying here if you're heading that side of Iceland.
