The original carriage house to the next door mansion. Originally built in 1896, this Spacious house has several distinct hangout areas, including the newly opened carriage house basement bar. With a large open family, dining, kitchen area on the first floor and an outdoor patio of the back, there is room for the group to spread out or hangout together.

In town for wedding

We loved the carriage house! The pictures on the web site are exactly how the house looks. Having never rented a house before and several unknowns, the owners were very gracious in answering all my questions prior our arrival. The house is so quaint you feel at home immediately! It was nice to have a place to come home to every night and you felt "at home". The only two items we noticed were the mattresses were not the best on two of the three beds. Family members stated you rolled to the middle. And parking is tight if you have multiple vehicles. All is all it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay there again! It was sad to leave.

The hosts have done a very thorough and tasteful renovation of this property. It was very well stocked with linens, towels, and kitchen supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during a family wedding. It was a very good space for hosting a pre-wedding dinner and brunch the next morning. Thank you!

Nice homecoming!

What a pleasant stay! Along with my siblings it made a perfect place for a family reunion. The neighborhood was very quiet and the property managers were very responsive. I would highly recommend this place!

Is very cozy, the owners have put a lot of work into this home to make it a pleasurable stay. the history of this carriage home and the large white home are very interesting as well as other homes close by. Was nice to be back in Fairmont and drive around and see old memories of when we grew up in the area.

Cozy Stay in a Great Town

Great house with a cool history.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House (a genuinely refurbished old 19th century carriage house). The owners were attentive and supplied everything we needed. The house was super with a fresh remodel but retaining its historical charm.

This is a beautifully restored historic home in a great neighborhood. Kitchen is well stocked and gorgeous! The Christmas decorations were a wonderful addition. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again.

Great stay

House was very clean, air conditioning was good and cold, and the kitchen had all the necessities and then some. The only slight drawback was that you have to walk through one of the upstairs sleeping areas in order to get to the other true bedrooms. I would highly recommend this house during your next stay in Fairmont!

Family reunion

This is the cutest house in a beautiful quint neighborhood. The fire pit out back was all loaded and ready to go for our first nights fire. The kitchen was fully stocked and all toiletries were very well stocked. We had know issues during our stay. Would highly recommend this home.
