We arrived at the lodge and had no idea where to go - no one there to greet us, no message stating how to check-in, etc. We ended up calling the hotel, who directed us to someone's front door who awkwardly gave us the key. A very strange start. The location itself was gorgeous.

Le pire établissement de notre sejour. Personne pour accueillir les hôtes. Endroit au milieu de nulle part, sans meme un minimum vital : pas de réfrigérateur pas de micro ondes, machine a café ne fonctionne pas... dans la chambre on entend tous les bruuts des voisins et la chasse d'eau dysfonctionnait...toutes ces merveilles pour la modique somme de 190 euro ! L'hospitalité Islandaise ?!.......

Superbe endroit, très isolé et donc très calme. Nous avons adoré la décoration et la chambre. A cause du Covid (ou du hors saison, ou les deux), il ny avait aucun service (pas de bain chaud ou de petit déjeuner) mais il était permis d'utiliser la salle commune pour se faire son propre repas. Acceuil un peu sommaire du propriétaire mais sinon, c'était tres bien

Wir waren den ersten Tag die einzigen Gäste, das Zimmer 9 war schön groß und sehr sauber. Es war alles vorhanden was man so benötigte. Das Frühstück war super und es gab richtige Körnerbrötchen, frisches Obst und Spiegeleier. Man könnte sich tagsüber immer Kaffee und kleine Kuchenteilchen holen. Und hat es dort sehr gut gefallen, trotz des echt schlechten Wetter.
