Little piece of heaven

Super nice place that feels way out but super close to town. You get that country feeling without having to drive to get to places. Had everything we needed, enjoyed the firepit where i cooken dinner. Enjoyed the hot tup after walking the Biltmore all day. Loved the chickens and the familiar sound of the Roosters crow. Enjoyed playing ball with the dog, met the host who is fantastic! Some people may not enjoy a Rooster but i do...he is kept in the coop untol later in the mornings though. Fresh eggs waiting for you for breakfast! Awesome place to watch the star filled sky at night...loved it!

Hanging Out near Asheville

Perfect place for my husband & I to hang out after days of hiking many trails in the Asheville area. The hot tub helped soothe tired muscles and the king size bed was so comfortable. We ate in some evenings but were close enough to Asheville’s numerous dining choices. Sawyer’s Cabin has it all!

Wonderful stay

Stayed in Sawyer’s Cabin for 5 days and could not have had a better time. Property was super clean, extremely well stocked, and very quiet. We will be back this fall for another stay.

Great long weekend getaway

My wife and I had an excellent time! Janet and Jeff are excellent hosts, the cabin was phenomenal and we enjoyed the handmade craftsmanship of the cabin. Great food nearby, along with an easy drive into Asheville. We wanted a place that was out of the city, but just close enough. This hit the spot.

Amazing Cabin/Location

Completely amazed with the cabin. Clean and very cozy. Janet and Jeff were great contacts. Jeff stopped by to make sure we were set up for winter storm coming and Janet was very informative on the phone and in the awesome welcome book with history and things to do in the area. Would definitely recommend this cabin. If you are planning with another family or have older kids, the downstairs is set up to be a second full living area.

Good stay in a cozy cabin

Our family of three (mom, dad, teen boy) just returned from 6 nights at this property. The cabin is very well built; we were impressed. It is a small space, which you should be able to tell from the listing. The pictures of the futon (which is actually a nice couch now) and the fold-out beds are a bit misleading since that space is not accessible from within the cabin. You need to enter via a door from the outside. That's cool, unless a guest was planning to sleep in the cabin's main bed and put their kids in the extra "bedroom," which is essentially a separate property with two doors only accessible from the outside. The cabin layout is unique, and we were quite glad for the basement. We used the main cabin for sleeping (the loft was perfect for our son) and food storage/prep. However, the basement was more conducive to watching tv and eating our meals. So we carried our meals up and down the stairs, but after a day or two it became pretty normal. We also ended up using the basement bathroom for showering and getting ready because the shower is larger and there's a double vanity - much more space all around. So again, we carried our clothes back and forth as needed, but it worked out. The space was clean, with the exception of an overlooked trashcan and sink trap in the basement. We enjoyed the oversized Connect Four game, and the wall Scrabble! We also really enjoyed the fire pit area on our last night. I might suggest a few things for comfort's sake. I know mattresses and pillows are very subjective. But the firm mattress and flat pillows weren't a good combination for us, and after the second night neither my husband nor I could turn our heads. It worked out, but was a challenge early on. A plush mattress topper and some additional pillows of various types might add comfort. Also, in the upstairs bathroom there were a variety of bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths, but we could only find a small bar of hotel soap. In the basement we didn't find hand towels or washcloths, but there was body wash and conditioner, just no shampoo. These are tiny details, probably overly picky, but we've stayed in so many vacation rentals that do a great job of amenities, which we always appreciate. All in all, this made a great base for exploring Asheville. We met Jeff the first night, and he was very kind! We also met the neighbor, who stopped by to say hello.

Beautiful and relaxing getaway cabin

My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway at Sawyers Cabin! The cabin was very clean, and the views were beautiful. The hot tub was relaxing. Janet & Jeff were very accommodating and wonderful hosts. We can't wait to visit again!

Relaxing and picturesque getaway!

We loved the cabin and farm experience. The location is close enough to any Asheville attractions while being secluded enough to relax and unwind. My husband and I enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings along with hiking and exploring during the day. My grandchildren visited one day and fished the pond that is on the grounds and caught two fish. They loved the cows and chickens. Janet and Jeff are so friendly and kind, they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We loved it!

Beautiful oasis for our honeymoon

Janet and Jeff keep the property in tip top shape! It’s absolutely beautiful and so many small details like labeling the light switches, providing detergent for the laundry so we can do a quick load before making the journey home, and a book filled with info about the surrounding area! We were able to enjoy the hot tub every night and the rocking chairs on the balcony are amazing to take in the lovely scenery. We are already looking forward to returning to sawyers cabin! Thanks for a wonderful honeymoon!!

AMAZING CABIN

My husband and I chose to get away for our Wedding Anniversary and this cabin was fabulous. Janet was such a fabulous host and the cabin provided us with any and everything we could have asked for. The land, views, and serene atmosphere will definitely bring us back!

Perfect stay !

We enjoyed our 7 days stay immensely ! The cabin cute as a button and clean; away from busy area, quiet yet about only 6 miles from great restaurants in Asheville. For whatever reason we arrived 1 day early , the wonderful Janet saved and accommodated us in their other as nice property and allows us to stay until 3:00 PM check in at Sawyer cabin. Janet and her family hospitality make us feel like we’ve been friends for a long time. Definitely the most fun stay , picking raspberry in their farm, take a walk in vast the property, great quiet rest and eating well in amazing restaurants. We definitely will be back !!

Feel like you are on cloud 9 at Cloud9 Farms

From the moment I confirmed my reservation, Cloud9 has been amazingly involved. From a seamless check-in procedure and highly recommended couples massages to breathtaking modern amenities in a rural cabin settings, my wife and I thoroughly our stay. Our cabin was remote yet had the comfort and space we have enjoyed from our frequent travels. Everyday the owners, checked in on our stay to see if anything was needed and even invited us to various events that were ongoing nearby. The owners of Cloud9 seemed more like friendly neighbors and have won us over as returning annual visitors.
