Pet hair invasion

The room was sad. The flooring in the bathroom was lifting up and glue particles were escaping from the cracks. The shower was leaking, and there was a space between the glass that simply let water come out of it. Lastly, and most egregiously, was the fact that the small patch of carpet that was in our room was replete with pet hair. I literally asked for a vacuum cleaner and cleaned it up myself. On the positive side, the gym was very clean and all the equipment looked new, and the expected kindness of South Carolinians was on display. Even with this, my fiancé and I would never stay at this hotel again.

Fire light in room flash every 5 seconds. I was double charged for the stay (Aloft and Hotel.com. There was no real “breakfast.” There were “electric chargers” but 100% of them were for Tesla so this was useless.!they should specify what kind of chargers they have.

The room's main door did not have a dead bolt lock, the light in the bathroom lit up the whole room. In the morning no breakfast and didn't even have lid's for coffee cup to take out. Come on you can do better!

It was a room with a bed. If you just want a place to sleep this is your place. This was not a 2 queen with sofa bed it was just 2 queens and a modern couch. The bathroom shower door was half ripped from the wall and their breakfast included is not breakfast. It’s glorified pastry plate and not anything like a breakfast should be.

I got into the shower, only to find that the shampoo and body wash dispensers were empty. Someone brought replacements promptly, but then I had to figure out how to remove the empty ones. We woke up in the morning to find that coffee supplies also had not been stocked. Water ftom the shower spilled out onto the floor. Otherwise, the room was adequate.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Starting at 11 am before check in the staff was very friendly and assuring every time I called to push back our arrival (ended up being 3 am). The hotel was sold out so thank goodness for them they checked me in first call and had my keys ready as soon as I walked in. 2 or 3 employees behind desk at arrival and every single one was friendly and pleasant. Room was adorable, clean and comfy, and already had AC on and cooled off! You hardly find that! I found my new stop point for my 15 hour trips. Yea maybe only 6 hours in but the hotel is worth the longer drive day 2! You want that night in between to be super restful and this is my 8th car trip and without a doubt my favorite hotel! These days as a single mom in the middle of the night you never feel safe until you're inside your room. They made me feel safe with their professionalism and kindness. Thank you! When you're on a road trip it means a lot to have that half way home spot to really rest. Hit the jackpot with the whole package here!

The only issue we had was with the bathroom. There was only half roll of toilet paper, floor was dirty and there was rolled up paper in the corner. It was obvious that it was not cleaned before our check in.
