The staff were wonderful, especially Anna. The room was large and very nice. The complimentary breakfast was very good. There were noisy guests one night which was my only concern.

There was a WiFi outage on the street where the hotel was located which made it impossible to pay for the stay at that property. Instead the desk clerk had to escort me to their partner property in order to make the payment. It was not far away but rather inconvenient. Additionally, the elevator was interesting…it would not stop at our floor going up rather we had to go up an extra floor and then come back down to our floor. The room itself was great and the location is convenient to Santa Maria Novella rail station…however Uber would not pick us up from the hotel to return to the train station. We had to walk instead.

Great location

Great stay, close to the station and right in the centre of Florence. The hotel is not really a hotel and more of a stand alone apartment block. Assistance is usually found in a nearby hotel around the corner.

A hidden gem

We were pleasantly surprised at check in with Avery clean, spacious and modern room, bottle of red wine included in our booking. Breakfast was very tasty with fresh eggs, fresh fruits pastries, and an assortment of nuts, grains, cheeses and meats. It was a short walk from the train station and was 15 min walk away from David, many popular plazas, top rated restaurants that the staff recommended. Anna was very engaging during our breakfast and checkout.
