About this listing

Enjoy your stay in this cozy, elegant and recently renovated apartment situated in one of the noblest district of Florence. The apartment is immersed in the historical center of Florence, walking distance from the major sights of the city (Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio ect..) and surrounded by lots of great restaurants, shops, grocery store and markets. Very quite during day and night thanks to car access restrictions. Ideal for family and friends who want peaceful enjoying Florence's tourist attractions.

The Place

The apartment is located on the 1st floor of a nice and noble building built in 1900.
The apartment consists of four rooms:
Two comfortable and bright bedrooms, one with double bed and another with two single beds both with not-flammable mattress.
One living room with a kitchen, equipped with TV, refrigerator, oven, coffee machine, etc….
One bathroom with shower, bidet, air-dryer and window.
One laundry with a washing/dryer machine, ironing board and iron.
The apartment is equipped with air conditioners in all rooms and windows from which you can admire a gorgeous view of the Duomo.

Guest Access

Being right in the city center there's no need of car. We suggest using either taxi or public transportation. Car access restriction and difficult parking may upset your pleasant stay. If you plan to rent a car, toll parking is available 500m from the apartment.
The way to Duomo is a pleasant walk of about 8 minutes, while the Michelangelo's David and Botanic Garden are just a couple of blocks away.

Getting around

There is a bus stop just few meters away, from where you can take buses for all main location, including train station of Santa Maria Novella which is also reachable with 20min walk (1,5km).
Guests can stay in Florence and visit the following notorious destinations:
San Gimignano town (an hour driving)
Chianti valley: (43 minutes driving) Chianti DOCG tasting.
Siena: (1 hr 14 minutes driving)
Museo dell'Opera del Duomo: (5 minutes walking)
Lake Como: (4 hr 20 minutes driving)

Couples days before your arrival in Florence please contact us via email to arrange a time to meet you at the apartment to give you the keys. If for any reason your time of arrival changes, let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange a new appointment.
Please note that it is not possible to arrive to the apartment without appointment since we have other arrivals and commitments during the day.

Please bring a copy of your passport and write your home address on it, as we have to declare your stay in our apartment to the local authority.

THE FOLLOWINGS ARE FEES TO BE PAID IN CASH AT TIME OF ARRIVAL:
- Check in: from 15:00 to 22:00. A surcharge may apply for check in before 8:00 or after 22:00
- A crib can be added at the cost per booking
- Extra cleaning, sheets and towels change are available during your stay upon request for a cost of €30
- The tourist or city tax (€5.50) has to be paid by any person not resident in the city of Florence, for each overnight stay (i.e. per person per night), up to a maximum of 7 nights in a row.

cozy and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay here and really liked the ease of walking to nearby points of interest. The home was cute and clean. The manager was great with communicating, meeting us upon our arrival and showing us how things worked. We really liked getting to have a washing machine inside the unit! The only downside was that there was construction on the street and the noise definitely traveled upstairs, but we were already getting up and ready for the day when it started so it didn't affect us much.

A pleasant apartment in a very convenient location.
The best feature of the apartment was its location: a 15 minute walk to the Duomo, and not much further than that to many of the highlights of Florence. The apartment itself was comfortable enough. The kitchen is adequate but we wouldn't want to do a lot of cooking. The bedrooms were fine and quiet, including the one facing the street. Storage space in the latter was limited, the potential space being cluttered with any number of items. The bathroom is small and the shower tiny, but that is the result of the age of the building and what would have been possible to build. The heating system is modern and effective. The TV works ok but has only Italian stations. The apartment is on the first floor (US second floor) with no lift. A bus stop offering a number of lines is just down the block--very convenient. Ww would consider staying here again if we were to return to Florence. Expect crowds and long lines at the most important sites.
