The hotel is perfect for a short stay. We had a triple room, which was the perfect size for our group. While the rooms could use some maintenance, it's Italy older buildings are part of the charm. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There was a bit of noise at times due to construction, but it wasn’t a major issue. The A/C didn’t cool the room as much as we’d like, but we learned that’s typical due to local regulations. Overall, a decent stay. I’d probably stay here again.

I can’t say this is the worst place I’ve stayed but I must warn you. The beds are spring mattresses. You can physically feel the springs under you! That might be ok for someone in their 20s but for me in my 40s—I’ll compare this hotel to camping. The shower was tiny!! Have you ever been on a cruise? Yeah the shower was smaller than that. A/C didn’t work well at all! The staff was nice and that’s why I gave it two stars. Its no where near the. 7.8 rating it had when I booked. Nope not again! We even left before the 2nd nights stay because we couldn’t fathom sleeping there or trying to shower.

I am usually not a person to take additional effort to give review of the hotel but Hotel Atlantic really annoyed me. The location of the property is really good but the property and the staff are really cold and rude. It was nearly 30 degrees temperature and the AC in the room were not working. When we first entered, we thought it will take some time however full night we were sweating. when we complained about it next morning that time the staff said that the control of the AC is from downstairs and he will make it work. There was no difference. Again in the evening we went to the reception, but the lady staff just gave us a cold look. In the elevator we met other customer and asked them whether their AC is working and they said its not however they requested for a fan. Finally there was some cleaning staff on the floor whom we requested for a fan and he got us a small table fan which hardly made much difference unless you are standing in front of that fan. Moreover the hotel gives only one card key so if you are stepping out with the key and come back to the hotel after few hours, your room will be a furnace as everything will be switched off. We requested for another key for which the staff said that they don't have any more keys to give. Also the photo of the room on expedia is not what we got. It is a shame that they are charging almost £100 a night with no AC and poor customer service. Basic temperature to sleep comfortably should be main aim of hotels.

Properties location was good, and the room was clean What we didn't like was the fact the air conditioner was locked at a certain temperature and the room had ZERO circulation making the room very warm and uncomfortable

Room pictures showed online while booking was totally different at actual. Room allotted to us was too small that had only bed and one chair. In the end I paid $490 CAD extra too upgrade my room. They should post actual pictures of the room and property online. Paying $700 per night for that kind of property is too much. On guest note it was written water in fridge is complementary but staff said nothing is complementary I was asked to pay 2 euro per small bottle for 300 ml .

The Hotel Atlantic is perfectly located close to the railway station and the principal tourist destinations in Florence. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful The roof top bar offers excellent views and cocktails. However,  our Classic room would have benefited from a refurbishment. The shower in particular and some kind of rail is needed to provide support when descending the two steep steps from the bathroom to the bedroom.

Hotel was in a very convenient area near train station and walkable to main attractions. If I were to come back I would not book with this place. Staff was not welcoming nor helpful. There is no wifi in my room, and staff did not do much to help. Room was semi clean. Bed was way too hard. Rooms are also outdated. If you are looking for a modern place this is not it. Would recommend booking somewhere else.

Location is great. Within walking distance of popular attractions and tours. But this is not a heritage property and nor it is a 4 star property. At max, it is a 2 star property. Facilities are poor. Not even a coffee cup in the room. You can’t set room temperature, the spring bed can give back pain and windows without curtains. We had to keep windows closed all the time for privacy. Flys and mosquitoes in the room, not many but they were there. If you are staying at this location then plan on staying out the whole day and use this place for crashing at night when you are dead tired.
