My first trip to Florence, well Italy in general. As any traveler from another country I skeptical at first as I wanted to make sure I payed for what I got. I definitely got what I was looking for and much more! Not sure the man’s name working the reception when I got there but he gave us unbelievable recommendations from food, site seeing and bars.
This place is a dump, stuff really rude, I couldn’t stay there left to another hotel , the staff was rude and didn’t return my money, stay way from this place

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We only didn’t like how the bathroom upstairs didn’t work so we had to walk down multiple flights of stairs to use the bathroom. Great place overall.
It's near the train station, shops, restaurants and tourist attractions and center. The property looks very old and the signage is very poor. Anyone looking to stay here should look for the number and street name rather than the name of the accommodation. I call it a "business with no visible sign. Room 11 where we stayed was clean but needs updating. It will not also cost a lot to provide even cheap shower gels. We were supposed to receive an email regarding access to the property on the day of arrival but for some reason we did not get any any. It's either the bell was not working on the door or no one heard us so I had to call a number for them to provide us access. They allow you to leave your luggage for later pick up but not in a room but on the hallway. Will use it again if in Florence in the future? Maybe not.
The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean and warm, and it had a small private bathroom. The front desk staff was very helpful after check-in, providing us with a city map and recommendations for places to visit. The only issue was that when we wanted to take a shower around 9pm, the water was quite cold. Overall, it was a comfortable and centrally located stay.
There was definitely water damage or mold on the walls. There is also water damage near the bathroom. You get what you pay for. The communal bathroom is interesting and the shower is small.
They should clean the rooms more. My room was cleaned only once in 3 days. There is no elevator for the first floor and no one to help in the luggage. The good thing is that the location is 15 mins away from the train station and near to the city center.
It was an older hotel but the room was very clean and large. It was quiet. The desk staff were friendly and spoke English. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

I stayed there for two night with my son. The location was perfect. So close to everything and lots of dining options. Our beds were comfortable but the pillows were terribly flat. I must have overlooked that we had to share one bathroom per floor with about 4-5 other rooms, which was quite inconvenient if you were up in the night. We did have a shower and sink of our own, which if I was traveling with my husband and not my son would have been ok.
Overall it was a good place to sleep.
Clean room, staff is very good, the bed in the room was good.
The private bathroom is very tiny and narrow: you ca not bend over to wash your face or wipe yourself :). Tiny TV on the wall.My room was located next to the common bathroom: heard every sound of slapping door.
The location was good, walkable to Duomo, tours, etc. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was so tiny it was difficult to maneuver in. There is often no staff at the desk. We had no hot water one day, and the staff was unapologetic and didn't seem to even understand why that would be a problem. TO access the rooms, there are many stairs to climb without railings and the lighting is not very good. We saw several elderly people struggling to climb the stairs. There is an elevator, but it's not usable by hotel guests (permanent residents only). Definitely not 8/10 as rated on Expedia!
I could feel the mattress springs poking into my body. I left after the 1st night and paid a 2nd time to stay in a proper hotel.
There is no elevator. I had to carry my heavy bags up 2 flights of stairs.
There are portions of the stairway that are not lighted and therefore very dark and unsafe.
There was 7 inches between the front of the toilet and the wall.
The people were polite and nice.
