Lovely Gem near everything historical centro

This beautiful gem in the heart of Firenze is not to be missed. The owner and staff were polite and quite lovely to chat with. Amazing room and decor. Walking distance to museums and good food. 10/10 highly recommend.

The property top level is a little aged but comfortable and spacious. You have everything you need for cooking in kitchen. During our stay there were somethings unexpected happened in the facility and caused some inconvenience, but the owner was very friendly and tried very hard to solve the issues for us as quick as possible and provided generous discount.

Staff are very friendly. Location is good as it’s close to all popular attractions. Even if you are joining tours to Cinque Terre, Venice, the meetup point was just in 10mins. Many good food around 👍

Gem of a spot

Fantastic location for a trip to Florence. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment, which was spacious for our family of 4. It is on the top floor, which didn't affect us in terms of access, but there are many steps! A/C only in hall, which didn't really extend to bedrooms - in the intense summer heat this did impact comfort. Fans are provided and were well used! The owner was incredibly helpful, recommending places to visit and eat, also allowing us to store luggage before check in and after check out.

We loved our apartment on the 5th floor. Got a little exercise climbing to the fifth floor every day without the elevator, but we loved it. We loved the little garden area, staff was nice, apartment got cleaned every day. Overall it was a good experience.

Really lovely B&B! The owner was nice, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was simple, but copious! Would highly recommend. 10-20 minute walk to all the major sites and very close to the train station.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Casa di Barbano. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious. There was lots of choice for breakfast and I really loved the vintage furniture that was in the room and the rest of the hotel. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the train station so it is in a great location. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Florence!

Very nice, easy going and accommodating host, on site all the time, ready to help if you need it. Nice simple Italian breakfast served in the morning. If it's busy you might need to wait your turn. About 15 min walk to the main basilica and the tower. About 10 min walk to the train station. It's an old palace and so the facilities are in tune with the old style Florence, so do not expect modern hotel-like interiors. You can borrow books and games as well. We liked it very much and would recommend it, no doubt.

This is a cute and spacious apartment at the top floor of the building. Despite there being no elevators to get to the apartment, we enjoyed our stay and our toddler liked the space to run around in. We would stay here again in the future.

We were a family of five and we booked two rooms..fit us perfectly. We all enjoyed our morning breakfast in the courtyard and my animal loving daughters enjoyed the two cats and three turtles greeting them in the courtyard ech day. The rooms were clean and quiet and our host was so nice. We will definetly stay here agaiin.

Anybody wanting to experience a true Italian lifestyle, and wanting to embrace the culture in Florence must come here. The service from the staff was outstanding, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Overall, you walk in and feel welcome, the extremely kind owner and manager is always there in case you need anything. If you are thinking on staying here, do yourself a favor and do so!

Maroq was absolutely a wonderful hostess! We stayed 6 nights and she was there to assist in any way possible. She provided continental breakfast daily, and offered advice on directions, places to visit, eateries, etc. As expected rooms are smaller, but very quiet and quaint with daily cleaning service. I highly recommend. We had an amazing experience here!

Excellent place to stay in Florence.

This was a lovely bed and breakfast and a great place to stay. Room was clean, spacious and serviced every day. Breakfast in the morning was basic, but more than enough. The owner is extremely helpful with ideas of places to visit, buses and hints and tips for the city. The accommodation was 10 mins walk from the station and about 15 mins walk from the historical centre. The only slight downside was being next to the breakfast area my room could be a bit noisy first thing in the morning, but that's mostly on me for not getting up earl enough! I will definitely stay here again when I return to Florence.
