With a spacious inverted floor plan and a screened-in deck to enjoy the ocean breeze, Conched Out is designed for relaxation and convenience.

Living Area:
The open living, dining, and kitchen area is located on the second floor, providing guests with stunning views and refreshing sea breezes. The cozy living space includes comfortable seating and large windows to let in natural light. The dining table seats ten, making it ideal for family gatherings and group meals.

Kitchen:
The fully equipped kitchen features modern appliances, including 2 refrigerators, an oven, microwave, and dishwasher. With ample counter space and a convenient layout, it’s perfect for preparing meals and snacks for the group.

Bedrooms:
Primary Bedroom: King bed with a private bathroom featuring a jetted tub and access to the deck.
Bedroom #2: King bed with shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom and deck access.
Bedroom #3: Full-size bed and a set of bunk beds with shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

Great area, close to beach, plenty of room. It needs a lot of work, several screens on porches busted, better rugs, definitely painting on the inside, windows cleaned and a thorough cleaning.

The location of this home is perfect, easily the best part of the stay. It’s in a great area and very convenient.However, the house itself has not been well maintained. There was dog hair throughout the home and even on outdoor furniture, which made it hard to fully enjoy the space. The furniture felt dirty, there was visible mold on some ceilings, and vents were covered in dust. Several fixtures (like toilet paper holders) were broken or loose, and some of the dishware did not appear clean.Overall, while the location is excellent, the condition and cleanliness of the home did not meet expectations for the price.

Perfect Place

We were down celebrating our son at The Citadel. This house was absolutely perfect for our family. Everyone had their space and plenty of room to spread out. The screened in porch was out favorite spot! We would love to stay here again.

Return visitors planning to return again!

Great location! Elevator was super helpful as well as the heated outdoor shower! The ample parking, plenty of yard space AND 2nd refrigerator/freezer were a huge plus!! I would recommend bringing your own pillows & sheets as these were more like summer camp quality. The joint location of the kitchen, large dining table & screened porch made for perfect family meals, games & memories! This lovely home will stay at the top of our list for repeat visits!!

Conched Out On Folly!

What a great house for our 9th year with our family on Folly! The outdoor living space is wonderful and the pool provided another fun activity for our grands! The home was clean, beds comfortable, ample supply of towels and a well appointed kitchen! Beach access is directly across the street and the outdoor enclosed shower eliminated all the sand! Looking forward to returning to this perfect house next summer! 😎

Perfect location

The house was walkable to town and across the street from a beach access walkway so you don’t have to go around the block. The pool has an electric cover so it’s always clean. The covered porches were great to sit in without the nuisance of bugs. My only concern is the house has dust/dog hair on the living room coffee table and the stairs. They let us check in 3 hours early so maybe the cleaners rushed to accommodate us. Small concern but I would still stay here again. The rental company was highly responsive and helpful.

Pros: directly across from beach access, wonderful screened in front deck with partial ocean view and sounds of the ocean, a half mile walk to the main strip, a few blocks from Berts market (open 24 hrs) Cons: uncomfortable beds (all), unclean shower (mold on shower liner), could have been cleaner overall, water filter on fridge needs replaced (and water spout needing to be cleaned), bare minimum kitchen essentials, uncomfortable couches/living room seating, front door code does not work for steps leading into the house from the garage, could use some updating/older house

Comfortable, awesome porches

Porch life was outstanding. View of the ocean, nice breeze, nice furniture, great to have both screened and unscrewed. Pretty landscaping. Loved the big dining table. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Beach accessories directly across the street. No soaps, kleenex, or travel toiletries or dish towels in the house, so bring your own. Bert's grocery is just a few blocks away, very walkable.

Great place for a family getaway

First off, communication with the host was excellent and we were able to get in early. We were so thrilled when we arrived to this spacious and beautifully decorated house. There is plenty of space to spread out. We used the screened in porch as our quiet area to read and do a jigsaw puzzle. The large living/dining space was perfect for making meals and hanging out. The television had all sorts of add-on (premium?) channels that the guys used extensively (LOL). The kitchen has every pot/pan/pyrex you could ever want to create a meal for two or twelve. The two frig's are very helpful for a crowd. Lastly, the elevator was very helpful during check-in and check-out. Oh, the location - fantastic - we biked (using our free credit with the rental company) all over Folly, but mostly to Bert's for forgotten items. We went to the beach multiple times a day and even got in the water (Brrrrr). We found about a dozen shark teeth! We'll be back!
