Welcome to the Hushpuppy House! Book now before you miss this family friendly gem. The house can accommodate 14 people. Enjoy your morning coffee overlooking Folly Beach on one of two oceanfront decks. Take your private access to the beach and grab provided beach chairs along the way. Plenty of room for the whole family, this house has it all. Book now to check out the renewed beach walkway and some of the new furnishings inside the house!

As soon as you walk in the front door your eyes will be amazed with the expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean. Gather around one of three couches in the living area while you enjoy time with family or entertainment on the 65" Samsung Smart TV, Make your way into the kitchen where you will find everything you need to make a meal for the entire family. Enjoy two coffee makers with one compatible with Kcups. A dedicated ice maker will keep the drinks iced down and the coolers filled. Two ovens, two refrigerators and plenty of space for cooking.

Just past the kitchen you will find a dining table with seating for 16 people and three more counter seats. Prefer to dine outside? Choose between a 6 person dining table on the main deck or head under the house to use the second 6 person dining table. New outdoor furniture will be found throughout the decks to help soak up those endless views.

The main floor has the kitchen, living and dining areas, pull out sofa, one queen bedroom and a full hall bathroom. The second floor is home to the two main bedrooms, each with their own private access to the second floor deck. Centrally located on the second floor is a game table and brand new high capacity washer and dryer. On the opposite side of the main bedrooms you will find a queen bedroom and a 2 twin bed room. These rooms are joined by a full bathroom. Head up to the third floor to find what many call the favorite room. Here you can sleep to the subtle sounds of waves crashing on 1 of 5 twin beds. Find a full bathroom, 55" Samsung Smart TV and foosball table on this floor.

The final space of the Hushpuppy House can be found below the home. This area is the ultimate hang out spot with an outdoor couch, dining table, outdoor shower and propane grill. Once you are ready to take your private walkway to the beach, grab some chairs and boogie or surf boards from the guest closet. Rinse off in a separate outdoor rinse station and head back to your favorite outdoor spot to watch the magnificent Folly sunsets.

Booking this house could be two vacations in one! Downtown Charleston is just over 15 minutes away. Spend a day downtown and explore the endless history and world class dining., There is so much to do and see you may just have to come back. Some main attractions include: South Carolina Aquarium, Historic Downtown, Patriots Point, Magnolia Gardens, Middleton Place, Fort Sumter & so much more. Do not forget to take a short stroll to Center st (the main st on Folly) for even more amazing dining and fun activities.

The HUSHPUPPY HOUSE was amazing. The house was right on the beach with its own private right away with out door shower. We had room for everyone, 8 adults and 3 grandkids, with beds to spare. The decks and windows offered spectacular views of Folly beach from inside and outside the house, We loved it!

Amazing Property

Perfect beach rental. We’ve stayed at many different SC beach properties since 2008 missing only once due to Covid. This year our group of 10 spanned three generations and the house had something for everyone. The kitchen and dining areas were spacious; our number more than doubled for a meal my daughter arranged to have catered and no one felt crowded. The boogie boards and surf boards saw action, but the big winner for games was corn hole. The outdoor shower and the walkway to the beach seemed new. The beach was the to-be-expected idyllic Folly Beach. What’s not to love? Back to the property—two wonderful master bedrooms with ocean views and four other bedroom choices. The floor plan on the main floor has a large TV tucked to the side so folks could visit in other areas while some enjoyed a movie. Grill worked well for our 4th of July picnic with six additional guests. We will be back!

After Christmas Getaway!

The house was beautiful inside with all the amenities you could possibly need. A pan with a brush would be helpful with the sand. The setting on the beach is spectacular and it's an easy walk to the beach. Gorgeous sunrises! Our group consisted of us, the grandparents, with our son & wife with their 2 grandchildren (5 & 8) along with 2 uncles, and an aunt. We also had seven other families members join us for a day. The town was wonderful. The house could have offered a few more hand towels in the bathrooms but other than that it was perfect and we hope to rent again!!!

Ocean Vacation

The house sits right on the beach, gorgeous view, great decking, furniture. Plenty of room for everyone - well equipped. Beds are already made when you arrive - yeah! Welcome basket is a nice touch. The outside shower needs some work - too small to include towel/clothes, you can't keep them dry. The addition of some hooks, shelf for soap, etc., would be very helpful. You can also see into the shower from the first deck - yikes! A piece of lattice/wood to correct the design is a must!

Best oceanfront property in Folly!

Best trip our family has ever taken to Folly. Great communication from host, home is as advertised- and even better in person. Deep porches for sitting and relaxing or impromptu wedding dance practice and first song selection. The kitchen was well appointed and there were plenty of towels for our group; bedding was comfortable and seating throughout home was plenty. We loved the dock that brings you down to beach entry and the outdoor showers so you don’t track sand back inside. We will absolutely return next year!

Absolutely wonderful family home!

This was the perfect rental for a large group, especially with kids. Each family had their own space with a fun room on the 3rd floor for all the kids to sleep in! Proximity to the beach was fabulous- walk right out your back door and into the sand, or enjoy the views right from one of the two balconies! We also loved the large dining table that was big enough to fit our entire group, and spacious living area with lots of seating. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. House was beautifully decorated, clean, and well stocked. There is even a closet downstairs stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, games, etc. Awesome, awesome rental. We will definitely be back!

Beach paradise

the house is absolutely beautiful with an amazing location, phenomenal view, and well stocked with everything we could’ve needed. falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean can’t be beat. we enjoyed the porches and easy beach access, as well as all the amenities — from beach chairs to surfboards. it’s an easy walk into town for shops, restaurants, etc., and less than 30 minutes to get into charleston. stephen was a perfect host; he was helpful and accommodating from beginning to end. highly recommend.

Fabulous in every way. My family gathered in Folly Beach to celebrate my retirement. The house was beautiful. Clean and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for large dinners. Well stocked with all the utensils we could need. We rent beach homes frequently. This was top notch!!! Thank you!

Amazing property, Amazing location

This was our first time staying at this property but not our first time at Folly Beach. I cannot say enough about how fabulous this house is. The home is well stocked with kitchen equipment, bathrooms very clean and layout of the rooms were perfect for our family. The outdoor shower made cleaning up the kids easy without getting a ton of sand inside the house. The house is well positioned to town. We rented a golf cart so had an easy ride into town but could’ve walked as well. The owner was really amazing. He was super communicative, friendly and wanted to make sure we had a good time. We surely did have a wonderful time and made memories for a lifetime that we will cherish as a family. We cannot wait to go back to the hushpuppy house!

The house is spacious and beautiful. The beach is right out the door and the sand and water are perfect. The host was incredible and reached out to me immediately to offer help if needed. (Thank you for that!) There are plenty of places to eat and have a drink within walking distance. We rented golf carts which was a blast. Couldn’t have been better. This updated property was a perfect place for our extended family to stay for a week. We enjoyed the open floor plan and spacious decks. Check in and out was extremely easy and welcomed. I would recommend this property for any families looking for a relaxing and logistically easy place to stay.
