The door to our room would not shut without a hard struggle with it. Staff seemed unconcerned.

Front desk very nice and accommodating. Room coukd use some updates but overall clean.

I didn't like the fact that the wall was dirty above the window I walked in my room and it was freezing cold and I had to get somebody to come help me with the thermostat thing which the front of the heater air conditioner came off cuz it wasn't locked also the fact that the next day the housekeeper knocked and walked right in and when I complained about it they said you should have had to do not disturb sign up I didn't have a do not disturb sign at all. So then the next day somebody came and just walked right in housekeeping again not even a knock so I was checking out that day but I was trying to finish some work and I just packed my stuff up and left I don't know what happened to country inn & suites because I used to always stay at the ones in Germantown and Brookfield but this one I would never go back to. Must have got some new ownership. Not to mention the fact the towels are paper thin.

Don't come for the breakfast.

We always get what we expect at Country Inn, mostly. I had no problems with this stay until we went down to get breakfast at 8:15. No fresh fruit, waffle mix, eggs or sausages. Grabbed some cold cereal and split. The dining area was far from busy and there were two attendants on hand to furnish the meal but, apparently, they were overwhelmed. Me? Underwhelmed.

Very comfortable room, clean and spacious! Much better than other hotels I have stayed at in FDL. Will definitely stay here again.

Cheryl the cook is fantastic and Liz at the front desk. However other front desk staff don’t even greet you and can be nasty. Otherwise nice place to stay.
