Italian interior in wooded area near TIEC

Beautiful small home designed after many trips to Italy! Located in a peaceful neighborhood tucked in a wooded area! It has all the amenities you need to feel at home.

IMPORTANT: There will be house construction in front of this cottage from Mon-Fri From 9am-6pm. We apologize about the inconvenience in advance.

We are 12 miles from the Tryon Equestrian Center, 20 min to Shelby, 1 hour to Asheville, and 1 hour or less away to many beautiful mountains, waterfalls and outdoor activities!

5-8 minutes away, you can find an Ingles supermarket with a Starbucks and gas station, a Walmart, an ALDI and other convenient stores.

Relax in the evening outside by the fire pit. Firewood included.

Another wonderful stay at Kimberly & Alex’s adorable, comfortable cottage. We visit once a year & wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else! They are fantastic hosts & the cottage is just absolutely perfect for couples or a single person. They are always very responsive & the cottage is stocked well with amenities & always spotlessly clean. It’s like being in the wilderness & so peaceful, yet only a few minutes drive to town. They have went above & beyond for us during many visits & we couldn’t be happier to stay at their lovely Italian inspired, peaceful little slice of Heaven! Great stay

We enjoyed our short stay visiting our hometown and really liked the house. The property is conveniently located close to many things (supermarket, restaurants, downtown Forest City). The owners have so many thoughtful touches throughout the property. The bathroom was especially nice and we had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Home Away from Home

This experience was amazing. The hosts provide literally everything you need except clothes and food. Fire wood and everything to start the fire in the fire pit. The grill had propane and lit up one the first ignitor push. And everything inside the cottage you need except food and clothes. Property is quiet and peaceful. There is a grocery store 5 min away and plenty of things to do with in an hour drive. 10/10 recommend.

Another Wonderful Stay with Kimberly & Alex

I just can’t say enough about the hosts & this sweet, comfortable cottage! We have stayed here multiple times when coming from Montana to visit my family & can’t imagine staying anywhere else. We travel a bit & have rented many properties that were great, but it just does not get any better than Kimberly & Alex’s cottage. They are far & above other rental hosts & simply exceptional at offering outstanding service to their guests! The cottage is always well stocked with amenities, offers great closet & storage space & is super clean & comfortable, not to mention so beautifully decorated. 😍 The washer & dryer are a great asset, too! We love that the cottage is tucked into a wooded area & feels like you are secluded far away, but yet it is so convenient to town & shopping. Communications with Kimberly are always prompt & she is always willing to offer up anything you may need. I could go on & on about how great this rental is & the hosts are! It is simply perfect for couples. You just can’t go wrong staying here when visiting Rutherford County. Kimberly & Alex, you outdid yourselves once again! Thank you so much for all you did to contribute to the fall family picnic we hosted while there. đŸŒ»đŸŒ»đŸŒ» You went above & beyond & we appreciate you so much!
