Stay comfortably in our apartment located in the historic Park-to-Park district of lovely Fort Madison. This space includes a queen sized bed, one full bathroom, a living room to relax in, with a flat screen tv, roku player and dvd player with movies to watch. This space also includes a sunroom that is beautiful during the day and an office space with a desk and chair for those wishing to work during their stay. It is in walking distance to Mark Twain's Mississippi River. There are parades here, there are band concerts in the parks, and lots of events happening every week. Churches galore. You are around the corner from downtown that features a movie theater, the Arts Center, a popular coffee shop (Swed & Co.), a wine bar, a craft brewery, a new bookstore, and the most popular consignment shop in the region, along with other interesting shops. The new marina, Turnwater Bar & Grill, recently opened with a fine view of the Mississippi River and a great place to share drinks or enjoy good food with family and friends. You can visit the Santa Fe Depot and Museum or the historic Fort just by walking there. This is the best town in Iowa to feel at home in. History dating back to the Civil War is all around you.
