I almost don't want to leave a review because this property is so great, I want it to be my secret!!! :) House - beautiful, the host has put a lot into the details, such has extra plugs for all our charging, lots of towels, comfortable furniture and all the kitchen tools we could have possibly needed. You have a narrow view of the water from the front and it literally takes 4 min to get to the beach. You are practically on the water. The host provides almost anything you need for the beach as well as for the pool. The pool area is very cute. Seven of us sat comfortably around the pool area. Local Area - we took a Lyft from the airport (at this house, you are so close to things you don't really need a car, and there are bikes to rent across the street), and it was only about 35 min. As mentioned above, the beach is so close, and there are clearly marked access points all over the place. The sand was soft and the resorts on the beach provide entertainment and easy places to grab a bite if you don't want to walk to the house. The Times Square area is super close and we even took a 15 min walk to eat on the Bay side.Other logistics - There is a Publix about 2 miles down the road. The first day I did Instacart and I was not impressed. So the 2nd visit I took a Lyft. It does take a while to get anywhere by car since there is only on main road. The Lyft was about 20 min long ride.

This property is an absolute gem. It is very clean and well cared for, with a lot of small touches that really made our stay great. The pool is very nice and the proximity to the beach is fantastic. The host is very quick to respond to inquiries and is genuinely interested in providing an excellent experience for their guests. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Overall very good! Ease of access to beach excellent, beach accessories was very good. Rooms were quiet and comfortable, air conditioning worked flawlessly. Kitchen was well equipped. The swimming pool was well maintained and refreshing. Only suggestion: the gas grill worked well, however the area below the grates need a cleaning. If ever in the Fort Meyers Beach area again would most definitely consider this property!

Family Beach Getaway

The property was a perfect set up for our family, with plenty of space for 7 adults and the little ones. Very clean and close to the beach. They thought of everything from a kitchen that had everything you could possibly need, to a complete beach setup with chairs and toys! The house is so close to the beach, and you can see it while sitting on the screeded in porch, enjoying coffee or cocktails! And close enough to walk to restaurants and beach shops!Lauren was a great host! She communicated so well and very accommodating!

I traveled with my husband, son and his family (a 1 and 6 year old). The space was great for 2 families with the 2 living areas. It was very close to the beach and we spent a lot of time on the screened porch with a view of the ocean. The house was very well stocked with everything you need. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Girls Weekend

This was a perfect house for our group; we had a girls' weekend, and the home was absolutely amazing. It had everything you could need in the home. We took an Uber to Publix to stock the fridge. Everything else was within walking distance, the ocean is pretty much across the street, and the bars and restaurants were all within a very short walk, so we did not need to have a rental car. We had 6 girls, so having the 3 bathrooms to get ready was nice. If you want a worry-free vacation, this home offers it all.

Great location and plenty of amenities! We had plenty of space in the house. Kitchen has the perfect coffee spot on the screened in porch. Easy walking to the beach. Great property in amazing location

We were a party of 6–a couple of moms and 4 college girls. The house was the perfect setup for us. Us moms had our mom bedrooms and baths upstairs and girls overtook the downstairs.First off, the communication with Lauren was terrific. Upon arrival the house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed—including shampoo, conditioner and body washes in all the bathrooms!We loved the location to the beach and all the restaurants. We cancelled our car rental because walking was so easy. Lots of towels and the beach cart and all accessories were really nice. And the pool was a hit as well when we wanted easy quiet downtime.We would definitely come stay again! And anxious to see all the additions happening after the hurricane damage—but that sure didn’t deter one ounce from our experience!

Salty Air Retreat

Salty Air Retreat was the perfect rental for our family! The house is super nice, well stocked with anything you need from Kitchenwares to towels to games. Beach chairs, umbrella and Wagon all made the short walk to the beach a breeze! The location is PERFECT! We would definitely return to this little slice of paradise! ❀

Greatest Time and experience at Salty Air Retreat

My husband and I Booked this trip for our collage age kids and their significant others. We had a total of 7. Everyone was happy! Salty Retreat gives plenty of space for people doing their own stuff. We loved the coziness it was very clean and felt like home away from home. Lauren was so accessible and accommodatig This was a wonderful location. It was close to all the bars, restaurants and Beach. We had everything we needed to head to beach (cooler, umbrella, towels, chairs and wagon to haul) Pool and outdoor patio area was great we spent a lot of time together at beach and pool. Will recommend to friends and definitely can’t wait to return Wonderful memories for us at Salty Air Retreat!! Thankful!

Exceeded expectations

Pictures did not do this justice. The home is beautiful, spacious and offered needed amenities and more. I was nervous with a previous review about the a/c because we normally are very warm but the air in the home was very comfortable. The walk to the beach is less than 2 minutes just crossing the road. There are bars and restaurants nearby but far enough to still be a quiet street. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Nice house and location

My husband and I stayed for 5 days/4 nights. The house was a nice house & updated very well from Hurricane Ian. Our hosts were very friendly, and quick to respond. We only had one issue with the microwave not working, which was fixed. There was plenty of room in each room in the house. The master shower was a bit small, but very nicely tiled, but we also had 2 other bathrooms to choose from that had larger showers. The only complaint we had was with the temperature we had to leave the thermostat at. It could not be turned down past 72. My husband & I usually keep our own home at 70. This may not seem like a big difference, but when it's 94 outside during the day, and 82 at night, it got a bit stuffy in the house, and made it hard to sleep because we were both hot. The upstairs didn’t cool as well as the downstairs. Overall, we would stay here again.

Relaxing stay

Place is great for a family to stay - plenty of room, pool and walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook and grill, and plenty of gear for enjoying the beach (umbrella, chairs, cart, cooler, sand buckets/toys, towels)

Great location and private pool

We will definitely stay here again. Lauren was easy to work with. The house was in a great location, within walking distance to restaurants, bars and across from the beach.
