Avis pour The Lodge, cozy one bedroom King Cottage on the Indian River Lagoon
Host was fine and easy to contact. The cleanliness of the property was definitely lacking. The cottages are older Florida construction and the three stars are because they are obviously trying but definitely have a ways to go yet. Torn screens and many gaps in the windows allowed the famous Florida insects easy ingress. The dock is new and very nice a perfect place to enjoy wildlife, we saw manatees, sea turtles, countless bird species and dolphins playing in the area was a daily occurrence. The kitchen was not well stocked, the pots and pans definitely on the older worn out side. The bed was very comfortable.
Murat, dusty, moldy, sticky are all words we could use to describe this place. The first reed flag was the trash that hadnât been emptied. The smells were the second. Then the show started out the first day as black water. Eventually cleared up but ugh. Also, shower barely got hot. Good side: The location is super convenient to shops and restaurants. The view is terrific. The property is pretty and looks like the listing. If you can handle sub-par accommodation this might work for you. We couldnât wait to check out. (We are not cranky, picky old people lol! Just really looking forward to this vacation and started it badly with a gross cottage.)
We enjoyed the cottage/bungalow feel.
Exactly what we were looking for.
Great location on the water.
Kimberly is a dream host, was always there when we needed to know something,
