The property itself amazing. Great location, several great seafood restaurants around it. The room was spotless and very great condition about no complaints. However the check in was not pleasant, the two kauoexat front were unfriendly and more annoyer doing their job. Not sure what was the problem.

We have been coming to this property for five or more years. We like that it is safe, quiet, and clean. This year, we noticed that there are several areas that have not been maintained quite as well as it should have been. The carpets need cleaned/replaced. The elevators need repaired, and overall, it much noisier in the hallways than in the past. The king, ocean-view is right next to the elevator, which dinged like a phone ring all day and night. This information should be noted when reserving any room through expedia (next to ice machine or next to elevator).The faucet in the shower leaked and was cranked tight to stop leak vs just repairing it. It is the small things such as these that would stop us from using this facility in our travels. If I were YOUR consultant (which I am not) I would point out to the facility manager to be corrected for better client satisfaction.

The fart fans in 2 rooms made noise, the toilets cycled because of bad valves. Mattresses were completely worn out and hurt my back, legs, shoulders.

Dining staff was terrible. Upon arrival, we were given a credit for breakfast for three that we did not ask for, but was offered as a conp due to our room not being a full ocean front view as we paid for. The next morning upon attempting to redeem the comp, the staff at the dining area at first refused to honor the comp and then insisted it was only for two regardless of the fact that the card had a #3 on it. The two women were very dismissive and defensive when all they had to do was contact hotel management. After about 20 minutes of treating us like crap, they finally did just that and told me. When our food was ready, they set it down in front of us. Not one word. We took it to go because that environment was not one we needed to be in if we were going to enjoy our very short vacation. As a single mom who works 50 hours a week and takes only very brief "vacations" a year, I don't want my kids having to deal with people who clearly don't belong in the hospitality business. I worked in the business for several years. You don't treat repeat customers like that. We likely won't be staying at Courtyards anymore after this xp.
