Place was clean and beautiful. Lived the wagon and beach toys. Kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook. Check in was easy. Just wish there was more bath towels. Definitely will stay again and would recommend

Great place, looked recently renovated, great location on bay side and lazy river, easy access to beach. Rental provided wagon, beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards. It was our 1st time flying instead of driving, so we were worried about these things, and awesome that they were there for our use. Will definitely stay here again.

Great Getaway

The property overall is great! The walkover to the beach side made the Destin West convenient to whatever we wanted to do. The condo was large enough for our family of 7 with room to spare! I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Had everything we needed except sunny weather 😎. Would stay here again. Very easy to find. Appreciated the covered parking especially with all the rain. Several good restaurants close by and/or a short drive away.

We stayed with our adult kids and two babies. We enjoyed the lazy river and pool. It was within walking distance to restaurants which was nice. The beach was beautiful. A few dislikes were the pull out couch was not comfortable for two adults. The floors were dirty and it wasn’t as clean as we would have expected. Overall we really enjoyed the week and had a great time. We would stay again. Great place for families with little ones.

Spacious Condo

David and the team were great to work with. Very responsive. Condo was awesome. Only negatives were the sleeper sofa did not work and the patio furniture was very corroded. Great view and complex. Condo is well appointed and has everything to make your stay pleasant. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place in a great location with a few caveats

Overall this property is amazing. Very well decorated and very clean. I gave 4 stars for overall because of what I believe to be ownership not worker bees. The property manager was amazing, the repair guy was awesome so this is not a ding on them. This unit needs a new refrigerator or a solid repair and based on our check-in documents, I'm sure the owner knows this. We had to keep everything in the freezer side which was somewhat cold because of the frost. Also as to the umbrella and chairs that they say are provided, either remove that in the listing or replace these and the broken down wagons that they're sitting in. This is salty air and these items need to be replaced regularly or pay the guy on the beach to have functional chairs and umbrellas. What's on the patio today is just garbage that's been collected and not functional for anyone to use. All that said, we had a great week and would stay in this complex again.

My family stayed in Heron 606 at Destin West across the street from the beach. Good area, nice and clean condo. Had a few mechanical issues. A little inconvenient to go to the beach and drag chairs and beach accessories across the walkway. Would have been nice if the condo had two beach chairs included in the rental. Then taking the beach accessories and food/drinks would be easier.

Rollin' on the River

We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation on the bay side of Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. The "lazy river" feature of our pool was our favorite pastime and we also enjoyed the smaller heated pool. Our 3 BR condo had gorgeous views, plenty of space, and was convenient to anything and everything we wanted.

Last minute get away

Wen loved the amenities of the property as well we how well stocked the condo was. We were able to cook and prepare meals without any worries as to not having the right tools. The condo is beautiful and just as pictured.

Destin getaway

We were very impressed with the size of the property. All the rooms were very spacious. We loved the access to the pools and lazy river, which we used every day! The property is just a short walk to the beautiful, soft-sand Gulf beach! And we enjoyed many meals on the patio overlooking the pools.
