The Pearl is located in SE downtown fort Walton Beach ,right off the Miracle Strip Parkway. The Pearl is a Historic cozy little cottage in a quiet setting and is also in walking distance of fantastic restaurants and fun filled night life. The Pearl has a cozy living room and spacious kitchen area with a washer and dryer area right at your fingertips. There is a beautiful front porch for relaxing with a cool beverage and good book or cooking a burger on the grill. A large bedroom with two full beds and full bathroom just off the bedroom area. The Pearl also has a huge yard so if you are traveling with boats, jet skis, or campers this is the place for you! Plenty of room for parking .
The Pearl is a short walk from Highway 98 “The Miracle strip “ This area is lined with some of the best restaurants, shopping and night life in the area. The Fort Walton Beach Landing is also in walking distance it is know for the famous Billy Bowlegs Festival that happens in the beginning of May in fact The Torch light Parade lines the road in front of the Historic Cottage during that time. The Pearl is located 3 minutes away from Okaloosa Island, you will go over the Brooks Bridge that overlooks the intercoastal waterway where you will find the world’s most beautiful beaches with emerald green waters and sugar white sand . Okaloosa island also has fantastic dining with world famous restaurants ,shopping, and loads of fun! For the sportsman’s that didn’t bring your boat there is also the Okaloosa Island Pier, so much fun fishing off the huge pier that goes into the Gulf of Mexico! For those that do bring your boat you are about 10 minutes away from Destin east pass, where the fishing is ! once known as Florida’s Famous little fishing village now is one of the most sought vacation destination in the country. The Harbor walk is located by the Destin East Pass and it is lined with boat ,paddle board, wave runners, and parasailing rentals ,restaurants, shopping , arcades, and spas . World Famous Crab Island is also located there and the party is waiting on you, remember
.. what happens at Crab Island stays at Crab Island lol ! Fishing , fun , and relaxing by the beautiful beach it doesn’t get any better.

Overall, the stay was good and the communication with the owner was excellent. It is a smaller/older house but it fit our needs fine. There are some things that could use some updating/repairs, but you have everything you need. It’s in a good location that’s close to everything, but if you’re looking for something fancy, this isn’t for you. For the price I’d say you get what you paid for. There were a couple of issues, but the owner responded quickly. I definitely recommend new blinds, maybe some paint, extra sheets/blankets for the air mattress, and better mattresses. Overall, we had a good experience.

Verbo needs to check on this property.

First was the toilet in the front yard , south and west yard looked like a snake haven ,junk everywhere called about air mattresses not holding air, the one used had to be pumped up every three hours ,no one got a good night sleep. Host never called back. Learned a few new words coming from homeless everywhere.

We had a baby shower at the Oyster and everything turned out perfect. It was enough parking as well as enough tables for all the food. The house came supplied with a lot of amenities which was nice.

Perfect location

The house is small but cute. It was perfect for our family of 4. It was clean and the host was very responsive to our messages. Felt safe and no one bothered with anything we left out over noght or while we were gone. We also loved it was close to Destin and Navarre.

Comfortable and clean

The pearl is a cozy little house. It was was well stocked with all the toiletries. The house could use a little maintenance on some items, but overall it was quiet and clean. I would stay there again.

Great Location for Travel Baseball Families!

Our son had a weeklong travel baseball tournament in Fort Walton Beach, and this location was PERFECT! We had easy access to a majority of the ballparks where the kids compete, and there were plenty of options for food. It's also a short drive from the beach. We highly recommend John Beasley Park. It offered public beach access and there were restrooms to shower off and tons of parking. We also enjoyed dinner one night at Ali's Bistro. During months that end in R, we highly recommend High Tide Restaurant!
