PERFECT PLACE

We were so very plaesed with our stay in this condo. The view was perfect, it's on the 5th floor, so you're high up enough for a great view of the gulf, but low enough to still people watch! It's located right over the resort's two pools which would have been perfect for us to keep an eye out on our two teenage kids had they been with us. The room was clean and everything was so nicely decorated. The bed in the master room was a little uncomfortable, but tolerable. We loved this unit so much that we are planning on booking a week long stay there next summer!

Great location and easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again. Two suggestions: there are no umbrellas at the pool. So no shade! A handrail in the shower would be nice. Overall great place!

We loved the view of the ocean! Pools were great for the kids and not over crowded. Kids loved the TVs in each of the bunk beds. Also having a code for the door was great, not worrying about a key. Beach service was a hit! We would vacation to this exact unit again!

The mattresses and couch were very thin and not comfortable at all. You could tell the couch was old. The sheets and blankets were like what they provide in a hospital. Not acceptable for something you’re paying for on vacation.

The only issue was that we decided prior to our arrival someone must have had possibly an animal of sorts inside. There was NO odor or anything like that. Just Mine and my son's allergies went bizerk the first night and that following day. They cleared up after that and all was well. The place was clean, very nice!

Beautiful, quiet retreat!

We did not use the bunk beds or pull out couch, but enjoyed each having our own full bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything needed. It would be nice to have a few hooks on the wall throughout the whole place, but overall we were very comfortable. The pools were very clean, plenty of lounge chairs. Easy access to the beach with nice showers to wash sand off. B & S were very attentive to our needs and pleasant to work with. Great place to stay!

Pretty Good condo, except for bed!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I have been going to Ft. Walton for about 20 years and almost always use Brooks and Shorey. We love the Waters Edge for the covered parking and large pool. We stayed in unit 507 which was pretty good. The couch and chairs were comfortable,kitchen pretty well stocked and of course the view was priceless. Only complaint is the bed was horrendous! Two people could not sleep in there because you both end up in the "gully" in the middle of the bed! The owners definitely need to invest in a good mattress to keep clients comfortable and repeat cutomers! Hubby took the bed and I slept on couch which was fine for a few nights but neither would want to do it for a week!I would suggest if you are going to be eating meals in, you should bring food from your home area as both Publix and Winn Dixie are very expensive. We brought extra paper towels and toilet paper but didn't need either as each bathroom had a roll with an extra and about half a roll of paper towels. Always good to have a washer and dryer in the unit as well. Overall, nice stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Outdated condo interior bunk bed Sheets had blood or scabs on them had to wash them rather disgusting for a 300 a night fee
