We stayed at the hotel for a total of 10 or 11 days. It took 6 days before anyone cleaned our room. We were leaving our room to travel four hours away to a different venue. We attempted to check out so we could receive a refund for those two days. Management refused. We booked through Expedia and spent a lot of time on the phone with Expedia while they tried to get approval for a refund for the two days we weren't going to be there and Expedia was denied by management. I went down to the front desk to speak to someone directly and they told me that management refused and their hands were tied. I was very disappointed. Prior to leaving for the two days since we weren't allowed to check out I informed the front desk that we have been at the hotel for several days and NEVER received room service. I have been taking my own trash out and then exchanging my towels myself. I have NEVER encountered such poor service like this before. The front desk was apologetic and said they were going to contact their Regional manager. Even after leaving the room vacant for two days we came back to a room that had never been touched. I was furious, but really had no one to take the anger out on. The front desk said they had relayed the message, but it never was done. When we got there we wanted to have a cup of tea, but there was no tea bags. When we had breakfast there was peanut butter, but no jelly. Every day the breakfast doors were locked promptly at 9:30. That was the only timely thing.

Staff can improve on replenishing towels and toilet paper more frequently I had to ask after a few days for toilet paper and towels. I was unsatisfied due to no hot water to shower until I changed rooms.

The hotel looks brand new, but don’t let that fool you. When we arrived at 3:00 pm (not early), the front desk staff were having computer issues. That happens, but they relied on one person running around to see which rooms were ready, leaving quite a few guests waiting. When we finally got our key, the floors were filthy and stained, and the bathroom was missing drywall, as if it hadn’t been finished. The walls were paper thin—we could hear everything around us. To make matters worse, we had no hot water the next morning. When we told the front desk, he simply wrote it down and said it happens randomly. No apology, no refund or discount—nothing. On top of that, I was charged an extra $87 in addition to the $25 damage hold. When I questioned it, I was told the employee who checked me in made a mistake and that I would be refunded both charges within a week. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 am, but it didn’t. The pancake machine wasn’t working, and our kids wouldn’t eat. We ended up leaving late and driving 13 hours without showers. Overall, I was shocked by everyone’s “oh well” attitude. We will not be staying here again.

Hotel is new and nice, very clean, however the staff was very disengaged. We were there for 10 days and asked the sheets be changed and new towels. They kept telling us they’ll get it done or when it wasn’t done it was a communication issue. Finally I just asked the housekeeping for sheets and changed the sheets myself. The front desk was not manned and when they came out from the back, the young lady seem to be having an argument on the phone with somebody else. Don’t think it was professional. Aside from that the hotel was nice and new and we did feel safe, but the customer service could use some improvement.
