We stopped here on a 2 day walk from Polperro to Par via the coast path. Lovely room, and great location next to the regular ferry to Fowey. The pub did delicious food as well.
The room was excellent with beautiful decor in keeping with a harbour village with loads of space. Jamie was very welcoming and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. The Hall Walk is right on the doorstep and well worth the effort with beautiful views. We will definitely be returning again.
The room was immaculate, nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was goodâŠI have already booked my next visit.
Staying in room 3, left a Themos flask there on Wednesday morning. Please can you keep it for me as I am going to return soon to pick it up. Many thanks. Jane
What great place to stay - on the Sunny side of the bay.
Everyone is so friendly and the staff are exceptionally helpful. With the ferry at your doorstep who needs a car. Left ours at the car park at the top of the village and had an amazing scenic walk down to The Lugger Inn.
Stunning location in harbour side pub. Room excellent. Stylish decor and split new bathroom. Ferry to Fowey barely yards away. I arrived by bus (not frequent). Walk to Polruan Castle 10 mins away. (Small but very atmospheric).
Located in a wonderful setting our rooms were newly and tastefully renovated. Great views over the harbour. New lovely bathroom with shower. Wonderful white linen covered comfortable bed. Netflix on TV. Easy clean floor. Very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend. Great food in restaurant. The two people who managed the bar and restaurant were run off their feet and did a wonderful job. We loved it.
The room was lovely, lovely patio with a limited sea view to the side however when we got there my husband had to fix the shower door as it was off itâs rollers and we couldnât open it, the shower trap needs cleaning and there was a poo stain in the toilet, no big deal but I think these are basics to check before letting the room. Also
there was no milk and I asked several times in the end I went and got some.. The food in the pub was really nice and the staff very friendly,
Fantastic location very awkward to park car if no space on the quayside, car park long distance away on top of the hillside, we were very lucky to get a space on the quayside someone leaving as we arrived,
Very quirky to get to upstairs bedrooms outside up a long flight of steps up the lane down an alleyway some more steps to the back of the Inn , having said that the room was lovely gorgeous king size bed ,
Food was fantastic lovely friendly atmosphere and great service.
The Inn isnât in Fowey itâs in Polruan across the bay to Fowey , there is a Lugger Inn in Fowey as well donât go to the wrong place like we did !!
Absolutely brilliant b&b with great food, staff and close to harbour beach and costal paths. The only disappointing part of the stay is that breakfast does not start until 9am, which for us was too late as we needed to get on with the day. If breakfast is a 8am start would have given the b&b a 5star.
Lovely bedroom and bathroom - comfortable and clean.
Terrace area needed work. This could be accessed by all staying guests, despite paying extra to have a terrace. The terrace also needed some attention - to be swept, planters needing finishing and decking, table and chairs all need a clean (covered in seagull mess). The partial sea view can only be seen from the end of the terrace, not the bedroom as suggested from the description.
